Harry and I were walking hand in hand down the corridor. We had a free period, and the best way to pass the time was with eachother.
Just as we turned the corner, Harry skidded to a halt. At first I was confused. But then I saw why. Malfoy and his 'gang' were on one side of the corridor, leant against the wall.

Malfoy was throwing an apple up and down in the air, occasionally taking a bite out of it. Blaise Zabini was leant against the wall, a stupid smile on his face. Crabbe and Goyle, or Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, didn't really know what was going on. So they just kinda... stood there. Like lost puppies, waiting for instructions.

On the other side of the corridor, Pansy was twirling a piece of hair around her finger. A few other Slytherin girls hung around her chatting among themselves.

Harry's grip tightened around my hand. "It's okay." I whispered, giving him a reassuring squeeze. He just nodded lightly.

Gently, I pulled Harry along. It took less than 3 seconds for The Prince of Slytherin to notice us. As soon as we came into view, a sly smirk came on to his face. I heard Harry gulp next to me. It wasn't the fact he was scared of Draco; he wasn't. He just didn't like what he said sometimes. Especially to me.

"If isn't Potter!" He spat. I pulled Harry along, faster. Draco seemed to notice. "Aww, Potter. Are you scared?" I huffed loudly. Harry's face twisted into a scowl.

"Yeah, as if! The only thing you could scare is a ferret. They would hate to have someone as stupid as you part of their kind." Draco's face flushed red with anger.

"Shut it, Potter. I would watch your mouth if I were you; I can make your life hell." Harry smirked.

"Yeah, right."

A grin came into Malfoy's face.

"Nice girlfriend you've get there, Potter. Wouldn't want anything to happen to her, right?" Harry dropped my hand, balling into a fist. It took me a minute to realise what was happening before I could finally react. Quickly, I grabbed his arm.

"Harry, Stop!" Draco was ready to fight back. I gave him a dirty glare.

"To wuss to fight? Need your girlfriend to help?" His gang made noise, like 'awww' and whistles.

Harry went to pounce but I jumped in front of him. "Harry stop. He's not worth it." I looked into his eyes, cupping his cheeks. "Come on. Let's go." Harry nodded lightly, allowing me to drag him along through the crowd of Slytherins.

We didn't look at any of them. Just strode through. We had eachother; nothing the Prince of Slytherin could say would break that apart.

Draco's POV:

She's right. I'm not worth it. As my feet carried me to Dumbledoor's office, those four words repeated in my head: I'm not worth it.

I'm not worth it.

I'm not worth it.
