You rolled, physically rolled, out of Draco's bed in the morning, a slight ache in your stomach and a definite pounding in your head. With a groan, you put on your clothes and left without a word.

This always happened.

You were naive enough to fall for his words and his lips.

No matter how many times you told yourself, promised yourself, you wouldn't do it again, you always did. You always ran back to him.

Once you reached your common room, you instantly headed for the showers. It felt good to wash yourself of his touch. His body. His kisses.

But you knew it wouldn't be the last time you'd have too.

By the time you were dried and dressed, everyone was up and heading to breakfast. You caught up with your friends and followed them down to the great hall.

"So how come you weren't in bed last night?" One asked. You shrugged.

"I couldn't sleep."

"So you were in the common room right?" She asked again. You slowly nodded.

"Yeah." No more words were spoken as you took a seat at your table. Food. You were hungry. You started filling your plate with the delicacies in front of you and sighed in relief when you finally ate some.

"Hungry, huh?" Someone asked.

You nodded your head quickly. After eating for a bit, your friend spoke again.

"Y/N, if you were in the common room all night, how come when I came down it was empty?" The question took you aback.

"What?"

"And how did I hear you sneak off as soon as everyone was asleep?" You chuckled awkwardly.

"What are you, a detective? Might as well shine a light on me and take my fingerprints." No one laughed. "Look, I took a walk. It was really hot last night and I needed time to think, you know? I didn't want to tell you incase you snitched on me."

She rose an eyebrow at you. After some time, she sighed, and sat back. "Fine, I believe you. Just don't do it-" Her voice trailed off as her eyes traveled down. You looked at her weirdly.

Her eyes widened in shock but a small laugh escaped her lips. She nudged your other friend and motioned with her head to look somewhere which seemed to be... Your neck.

"What?" You said, bored. They continued laughing. "For fucks sake, what!" You exclaimed loudly.

"How was that walk last night? Did you run into a wall and get bruises all over your neck?"

"What are talking..." Realisation hit you, "....about."

"Have fun last night, Y/N?" You tried to think of something, anything, that was witty to say. But nothing came. Instead, you stood up.

"You know, if you guys are just gonna interrogate me then I might as well leave. Goodbye." You stated, getting up from the table and grabbing an apple for your way. You left the hall, fully aware there were visible marks on your neck.

You were frustrated. It was his fault. Even after you told him specifically not to because you didn't want anyone to know. But you were to blame as well.

You didn't know how you missed them. You had showered. Dressed. You would've seen them. Maybe they weren't there at all. Just as you were thinking this, and had threw your apple away, someone had grabbed you and pinned you to the wall.

"Damn, I did good last night." You looked up, scowling, as Draco examined your neck.

"Fuck off, you cocky bastard." Draco smirked. He trapped you tightly to the wall, your head between his arms and his eyes now looking intently into yours.

"How come you left so early?" He questioned. You were so sick of questions.

"Because I didn't want to see you." Draco bit his lip in a way that made your heart skip a few beats.

"I'm hurt."

"Good." You didn't mean to be so harsh. You knew he didn't believe you anyway. Draco leaned forward and pressed a kiss to your lips. His hands slowly carresed your waist in a way that made you dizzy. "Stop." You whispered, meekly trying to push him off you.

He didn't listen. Instead, he kissed down your neck and over the marks that were already there. "Draco." You muttered sternly, peeking over your shoulder to see if anyone was about. The halls were empty but they wouldn't be for much longer.

Finally, as he went to kiss you again, you broke. "Draco, get the fuck off me, I mean it!" He stopped at your sudden outburst. He stepped back, releasing you from his grip. "I can't do this." You said, this time softer and quieter.

Draco's eyebrows creased. "What?"

"I-I can't keep doing this. I hate it. Sneaking around, not being able to just, I don't know, say 'hi' or whatever. I don't want to be used." Draco looked at you.

"I had no idea." He spoke softly. "Why didn't you talk to me?"

"When do we ever get the chance to talk, Draco? I mean really talk. We hardly know eachother!" He nodded.

"Then let's get to know eachother." You looked up at him.

"What?"

"Will you go out with me?" You were still confused.

"What?" Draco smiled, a genuine smile.

"I want to take you on a date, Y/N." He saw you were still unconvinced. "These marks... They mean something. They mean your mine, and no one else's. And your right. I don't want to use you. I want to love you." He leaned down, taking one of your hands in his.

He almost asked for permission to kiss you and you just nodded. His lips met  yours again but this time it was... Different. It felt as though everything around you disappeared. As if all that mattered was him.

You felt your heart beat faster and your stomach erupt in butterflies. It was weird. But nice. Draco pulled away and kissed your forehead then rested his chin against the top of your head.

He pulled you into his embrace and you felt yourself snuggle up to him as close as you could. A sense of relief washed over you and it just felt... Right.

"Okay." You whispered. He pulled away.

"Okay?" You smiled, nodding.

"But only if you promise not to leave any visible marks." He smirked, tracing your lips with his fingers and leaning down to whisper in your ear,

"I can't promise anything."
