The Date

We leave the house...Ashu bhaiya tells me that he will drop others to the hotel...that we should enjoy our date...Pri and Karan wishes me luck and we leave..I have planned to go to vagatore beach, also one of the famous beach..have nice seafood dinner and then drop her home...

She is quiet...I ask her "kya baat hai shilpaji...kya soch rahi ho?"

"kuch nahi...ye sab achnak ho raha hai, mujhe ajeeb feel ho raha hai".

"ajeeb kyun...mujhe to bahut khushi ho rahi hai...mera to nachne ka man kar raha hai..."

My phone rings. I feel like throwing the phone out but sees who it is and I stop the car...I get down from the car and talk to her..it is Ekta..while talking to her, i see from the mirror that shilpa is crying..I keep the phone and get inside..

"kya hua Shilpaji...kya aap abhi bhi mujhpar yakeen nahi kar rahi"?

"kaise karoon main aappar vishwas...samaj mein nahi aa raha hai...pehle jab mera career spoil hua ..tab main kisi tarah sambhli...phir bb mein aap mil gaye...ab agar dil tut gaya, vishwas tut gaya to main nahi sambhal paungi.."

"mai aapse 10 saal badi hoon...aapka aur mera lifestyle alag hai, swabhav alag hai...hum kaise nibhayenge...aap social hai...aap partiyan karte hai...par mujhe nahi pasand ata jab aap kisi ladki ke saath chipakkar photo khichte hai, main bilkul social nahi hoon...mujhe nahi pasand parties mein jana ..aap diplomatically bol sakte hai aur main apne vichar nahi achche se samjha paati..kahi maine aapko kabhi kisi ke saamne beizzat kiya to...hum kitne opposite hai ek dusre ke"

I listen to her very carefully...when she finally stops I tell her..." Shilpa, main producer hoon..partiyon mein jaana padta hai..ladke, ladkiyon ke saath photo khichwani padti hai iska matlab ye nahi ki main unse affair shuru karta hoon...baki jo baatein hai vo ek dusre ke saath rehkar seekh jaayenge...aur hum opposites hai isliye itne compatible hai"

"Agar hum ek jaise hote to hunesha ladte jhagadte..humare egos clash hote aur humme samantaaye bhi to hai..jaise hum dono ko movies dekhna pasand hai...hum log family person hai..dil ke achche hai...shilpa ek saath rahe bina kaise keh sakte hai ki hum compatible hai..."

She is listening to me carefully..she is understanding what i am trying to say...and then again the phone rings.
