Chapter 8
"I can't believe I'm stuck in here with you." Jason Anderson said groaning. He gave me a death glare that I gladly returned.
"The feeling is mutual. This is all your fault, you were in the...freaking way." He scoffed and opened his mouth to reply but the principal interrupted. You could see random red spots on his face and hair,
"No talking in detention. Now go clean my car."
Okay, you're probably confused. I know what you're probably thinking. What the hell happened Andy? How are you all of a sudden in detention with Jason Anderson of all people? Well...it all started earlier today...
"And, this is the last classroom. Lola....fish me." Lola rolled her eyes but held her nose as she gave me the fish wrapped in newspaper. I discarded the fish in the teachers desk, and sniffed the air. The classroom already smelled bad. Ah, the smell of victory.
"So, we placed fish in all the classrooms, did the principals car, now all we have to take care of is his office." I said smiling at the thought of finishing everything. Lola immediately shook her head no,
"All you have to do is take care of his office. I'm done helping I refuse to get in trouble, this is your prank." I pouted but she just shook her and headed off. She was probably heading to the assembly, that's where everyone else was. That's why it was the perfect time to do this prank. It wasn't epic, but it would get the job done.
I ventured out towards the principals office, prepared to lie to the principal if need be, but I was surprised when I noticed that she wasn't even at her desk. I walked towards the principals office, and looked around. It looked like a regular office. There was a desk, a sofa across the desk, an office chair behind the desk and a few pictures hanging on the wall. I took a deep breath, you can do this, you went this far. It's now or never.
I pulled out the red spray can from my bag and squeezed it. Now or never. I slowly spray-painted, 'Andy was here,' Across the walls. I was so concentrated on my spray painting that I didn't even hear the office door open.
"You are in so much trouble!" I jumped and turned around in shock and accidentally sprayed paint in the principals face. We stood there in shock. I started to stutter.
"I-I....uh....well..." Then I ran out of the office. The principal started chasing me, while yelling my name. People in the hallway who noticed us would take one look at my spray can, and then the principals face and they'd start laughing. I rounded a couple of corners and turned around to check if I was in the clear.
Suddenly, I bumped into a very warm wall. I landed with a oomph, but luckily something cushioned my fall. I looked down and noticed Jason Anderson underneath me groaning. I quickly stood up and tried to help him up.
After he stood up he glared at me, "What the hell, nerd. Watch where you're fucking going will ya?" I shushed him when I heard loud footsteps coming towards us. I pushed him towards a janitors closet that was conveniently there.
I closed the door and stood there quietly, ignoring Jason's furious yet curious glare. The footsteps hesitated right outside of the janitors closet. I frowned in confusion, when I noticed that the spray can wasn't in my hand anymore. I mentally cursed myself, I left the stupid can out there. Shit!
It was quiet for a few seconds when suddenly Jason got this weird look on his face, and his nose scrunched up. It was actually cute, until he suddenly sneezed. Luckily he turned his head to the side just in time, but unluckily the principal opened the janitors closet at that exact moment. I gave him a sheepish grin,
"Occupido."
And, that's how we got here, cleaning the car covered in rotten eggs. Also it had 'Andy was here' spray painted on the side. I've never regretted something so much until now. Jason continued to glare at me as he wiped the car. I frowned at him,
