Captilo 6

Rumaitha's POV

Baba is back already, ya rais and farhan went to pick him up from the airport .

The house is in chaos with the maids getting in and out , mama made sure everything was perfect.

We are currently in Baba's parlour catching up..

"Baba what did you buy for me am so eager to see" farhana said impatiently

" Easy there tigress" we all said laughing.

Baba brought out the gifts and handed them over.

"Omg a freaking make up set from trim and prissy" thank you so much babana you are the best farhana said dancing with joy crushing baba in a hug

Typical drama queen ..
"Don't break him" ya Rais said laughing

We all thanked baba for what he brought and left them in the parlor with mama.

"Guys let's have a movie night" ya raisa suggested

"I'll choose the movie" farhan said running to the home theater

"I'll grab the snacks, farhana come help me please" i said

We grabbed various types of junk food with drinks enough to fill us up throughout the movie .

Farhan chose the movie and hopefully all of us where into it , after the movie we all went to our various rooms to sleep .

When in my room i took a shower , brushed my teeth and hair , put on my pjs and climbed the bed , as soon as my head touched the pillow I drifted off to wonderland.

Today is Saturday and i plan on double something useful and meaningful ,  first i'm going to bake ya rahima's favorite chocolate cake then I plan on taking us all out for some sisterhood bonding its been long since we've done that ...

I took my bath dressed in a pair of faded jeans and a plain white t-shirts , wrapped my hair in a messy bun and tied a scarf, took my phone from the vanity table and off to the kitchen I go.

I've got everything ready for the cake, the batter is mixed , I transferred it into the pan and put the pan into the oven .
The cake is done so I asked Rita to please clear everything up because i need to change and remind ya raisa about our outing she kinda forget things easily.

"Salam sister" i said entering her room , I found her already ready 
" someone's excited I see" I teased
" of course I wouldn't trade this for the world" she said

" Alright then let me go get ready I know farhana is already waiting she has been hyped since morning" I said shutting the door..

As soon as I entered my room I changed my clothes, picked my bag and walked out...

I met ya raisa and farhana waiting for me I grabbed the cake from the kitchen counter and we went out after informing mama.

The ride to ya rahima's house was a noisy one, ya raisa insisted on driving in her own words " I don't want to share the fun with the driver" .

Ya rahima was happy to see us she was like " I thought you wouldn't make it " ..

We dropped Airah and her siblings at ummah's house ( their grandmother, ya Ahmad's mom ) .
we went to the mall, the salon even the spa to cut things short we pampered ourselves and had so much fun ...

"You guys I forgot to tell you I'm getting married" ya raisa said tensed

"when did that happen , and no one cared to tell me" ya rahima said feigning hurt

"shey I told you" Farhana said typing on her phone

"well I thought it was one of your pranks" i said still stunned

Turns out that ya Saif ( our paternal cousin ) proposed to her and she accepted wholeheartedly, they will make things official with Baba then we are going to have a wedding (secretly dancing in mah head ) ..

After we dropped ya rahima at her house we returned home , met mama and baba at the parlor watching news, we greeted them and stood up to leave when baba suddenly called me .

" Rum  rum ( the nickname he gave me ) I will like to discuss something important with you" He said adjusting his spectacles

"Toh  baba Allah yasa lafiya" i said suddenly nervous

"Lafiya qalau, ( holds breath and continued) One of my good friends Alhaji Abdullahi , he came with a marriage proposal and I accepted it , you are going to marry his son Amir, I'm not forcing you into anything just think about it okay" he said looking at me closely

I was very surprised like I never imagined me getting married anytime soon.

" I know that you will never disappoint me, you can go now and please don't over think things I only want what is best for you , Allah ya miki Albarka ( God bless you )" baba said patting my head

"Ameen Baba , nagode ( thank you )" i said finding my voice
