RR_"The State Visit"

Chapter XIX

(Cindy POV)

Today was the very big day on the part of the company. Just because today is the so-called "state visit" of the Crown Prince. Heck! Yeah.. And today is also a very busy day.

It was still early in the morning and you could only see that there are numerous press people waiting outside. All of them want to capture the very moment the said Crown Prince set foot in this building. Huh...Anyway... so much for that. I believe my team will gonna pull this thing off. And everything will went smoothly.

By the way, this is my first-ever POV and for the information of everybody, I am Cindy Loise Nayola. Been working in this company for almost a year. Oh...scratch that, actually I've been working here since the beginning of time. But I consider my formal working period the very day I graduated college, assumed the position as the Human Resource Head and then isolated my ass on those four-walled cubicle. -___- period.

So much for the petty introduction of myself. It's kinda boring that you might dozed off if I'm going to relay to you my entire biography. Afterall, it isn't my story to tell. It's for my  "kinakapatid" Blake. 

I may appear spokening dollars but I'm not totally ignoring Philippine peso.Takot ko lang na bumangon sa hukay si Jose Rizal ay i-ngudngod ako sa isang batya na punung-puno ng malansang isda.

Andito na ako ngayon sa private office ko. Hinihintay kong dumating si Sam. Well, na-briefing ko naman sya kahit papano at so far wala naming problema. Sa katunayan nga, ang bilis nyang maka-catch-up. Para bang sanay na sanay na sya kung paano ang pakikitungo nya rito at ang mga dapat nyang sasabihin.

Sinipat ko ang relong-pambisig. My goodness!

"She's already 30 minutes late. I told her to be here one hour prior to the arrival of the Crown Prince!" Heck... 30 minutes na lang at dadating na ang prinsipeng iyun.

Ano ba!..Sa ganitong pagkakataon na ba ako mapapahiya?Jeeezzz... kung bakit kasi hindi nauso sa babaeng iyun ang magdala ng cellphone. Yan tuloy....hindi ko sya agad ma-contact!..

Pagkarinig ko sa katok, dali-dali kong tinungo ang pinto at binuksan.

"Ohh.. thank goodness that you're final----"

I was taken aback and stopped short. Heck. Am I being judgmental the way I throw a look on this lady in front of me? For Pete sake, does my office exactly resemble a very charitable institution that somebody came knocking  at my door asking for alms?...

Looking physically, the lady is well quite had a sort of unmentionable face but definitely had a gorgeous body! Sa typical na lenggwaheng pusali, "hipon" ang kadalasang akmang deskripsyon sa katulad nito. To my surprise, walang anumang salita na pumasok ang babae sa loob ng opisina ko at prenteng napaupo sa upuang katapat ng mesa ko.

Ok!... Calm down Cindy Loise! You've been schooling this for years. You should have mastered yourself on dealing with people. I took a deep breath.

"Hello there! Good morning! Is there anything I can do for you?"

"Nakasusulasok ba talagang tignan ang pagmumukha ko?!.." sagot nung babae sa'kin habang titig na titig sa gawi ko.
