Sometimes the weight of tribulations burdens your heart and soul inexorably, sometimes you have no one to embrace your tired self and so you hold your being with your own familiar hands to prevent another excessive amount of pains , to stop missing your once old self while re_visiting a distant memory.

Pain , it's a horrible feeling that could haunt you at your worst or even your best , it is always an uninvited guest which occupies a part of you at a time until it turns to a chronic obstructive disease

Khushi rubbed her left forearm up and down gently in a half embrace ,the place was warm enough since A heating system was working to put warmth into her body, physically at least ,but it wasn't warming up her senses in any ways

The heavily falling drops of rain outside are bringing her back to memories when such a fateful rainy night snatched everything from her at once ..without a warning beforehand

She was his little princess and he was her everything ..when she couldn't understand the reasons behind the big hole between her and her father ,she had Anil by her side always bottling her up with blissful happiness ,enough to make her forget the threatening odds ,enough to be her only family . The shelter that provided her protection and warmth which she no longer feels, is no more ,he is somewhere behind the stars with others .. every such stormy day makes her feel homeless yet another time..

Could it get worse ?

As if subconsciously slapping her self to see the worse

" MAU Enterprises, owned by Mr John Marten Williams "

She didn't know for how long she was being roughly crashed between past and present ,all she remembers is that she was working hard so her attention wouldn't catch up with the rains and their attached incidents ,she hates rains ,lighting and thunder.. even after a period of fourteen year old, it still echoes anew inside her ,as damaging as the first time

Seeing the jerk John's name on some files broke her resolve and everything connected back from that crying night to the moment when she came at peace with the fact that she would survive, or so she thought

" Yes...it could get pretty much worse " she murmured painfully

She wanted to move completely out of every single thing which caused her a different sort of misery including John and Sasha circle but it seemed impossible now , John is one of the major clients in the place she just started working at, which means they might come face to face many times

Sasha ignorance ,completely busy in making money that she would forget her duties towards khushi

and John's lecherous eyes on a small helpless khushi

Gruesome Childhood.

Khushi placed her head between hands, What fault has she done to get through so much ?

A few moments more before she heard a sound,she composed her position

The intercom inside her cabin beeped

"Get Daniela industry file in my cabin now " his voice was stern

This was the first time he called for her to bring him something

Khushi gazed at the time on her phone

" Oh God ! "

It was 6:30pm which is half an hour later than her usual office hours

But no for God's sake, she is his PA which means she will have to stay back whenever and wherever required and she was told he has a hell of a temper when it comes to work
