Chapter 18 - Battle Frenzy

Ash's POV

I hurriedly grabbed my backpack, eat a slice of bread, and went off together with Pikachu to the academy because Gary said that were having some Pokemon battles. Of course I can't miss it, and maybe if Clemont will be there, I can't wait to see his Pokemons.

Me : Pikachu, are you ready?

Pikachu : Pi? Pika pika!(I was raised ready!)

??? : Ash! Glad you came!

I turned around to look at the person, the person turned out to be Oak Tree.

Gary : Glad you made it in time Ashy-Bo---

Me : What did you day? I can't hear it.

Gary : I mean Ash! Well I kinda sorted out who's battling.

Me : Who am I battling?

Gary : It'll be Clemont!

Me : Yes! I can't wait to meet his Pokemons.

Gary : C'mon Ash! Everybody is there already!

Me : Already?!

Me and Gary hurriedly went to the meeting place, we arrived and saw my friends chatting each other, until they noticed me.

Lillie : Come here Ash and Gary!

Serena : Battles' about to start!

We hurriedly gathered and talked about who'll be paired, Gary already told me who I'll battle.

Gary : Okay, so it'll be like this. Lillie vs. Serena, and Clemont vs. Ash okay?

Me : And what will you do?

Gary : Since I can't pair up with Bonnie, I'll act as the referee.

Me : Never heard of Gary being the referee before.

Gary : Whatever, let's get started! It'll be Clemont vs. Ash first! You girls sit down and learn.

Serena/Lillie : WHAT WAS THAT?!?!

Lillie and Serena charged to Gary and used Power-Up Punch, both cheeks on Gary.

Me : Lesson 1 Garry : Never let girls get to their angry point, got it?

Gary : G-G-Got...i-it...

Me : Let's go Clemont!

Clemont : Right!

Bonnie : Good luck brother! Good luck Ash!

Gary : This will be a 4 on 4 battle between Ash and Clemont, substitution are allowed, guys, reveal your Pokemons.

Clemont : Right! Luxray, come out!

Luxray appeared from its pokeball and cried, I smirked and revealed my first Pokemon.

Me : Fletchling, I choose you!

Fletchling came out from it's pokeball and chirped.

Over at Serena's place...

Bonnie : Pfft!!! A Fletchling? Against my brother's Luxray?

Serena : If you only knew Bonnie.

Lillie : Yeah if you only knew.

Bonnie : What's should I know?

Serena : You'll see.

Lillie : Just watch and learn okay?

Bonnie : You guys are treating me like a little kid!

Serena : Well, you're a kid, no offense.
