Destiny's Game

"Hey! That's my iPod!" King grouched when I snatched his iPod from him.

"I'll just going borrow it. Anyway you always get my coffee in London. Now you know how it feels."

He just sniggered.

We were waiting for our plane to take off. Yes. I am going back to the Philippines.

"Here." Sinalpakan ko ang isang tenga niya at pinatugtog ang paborito niyang kanta ng isang hollywood singer. He always dance crazily on this beat.

"You know me well huh?" He smiled.

"It was also my favorite song. Actually, that's my reason of playing it." I laughed.

He squint at me. I laughed again and hug King. He's been there when I need someone to talk to, when I need companion to relieve my stress, when I am finding myself.

Philippines. Its good to be back. Nabulong ko sa sarili ko pagkalapag ng eroplanog sinasakyan namin.

"Its reall good to be back home, right?" King, which is just next to me, said.

Tumango ako. "Finally! Home!"

"Reyna!" I immediately saw Gabby on the arriving area. I waved back. Medyo nagulat pa ako because she's with mom.

"Mom!" I run into her. "I miss you mommy!" I was a little bit moved as I hug mom.

"I miss you too Reyna." She replied. We took for about few seconds before we separated. I am really back home.

"Gab!" I squealed. "Its been a long time."

She nod at me. "Gaga ka kasi. Gosh! I'm glad that you're finally back." Tumili siya. As expected, she got attention. She is really my friend.

"Ehem." Tumikhim si King kaya nabaling ang atensyon ko sa kanya. Nalalimutan kong kasama ko parin pala siya.

"Oh. Sorry!" I apologized. "By the way, Mom, Gabby, this is King, my friend. I met him in London... and King, she's my mom, and she's Gabby, my bestfriend."

"It's my pleasure to meet you tita." Bumeso siya kay mommy. "Its also nice to meet you, Gabby, right?"

Tumango si Gab. "I always see you when I call Reyna."

King laughed. Makulit kasi itong si King. Whenever I make video call with Gabby, lagi siyang sumisingit sa likod ko. Dumadaan-daan.

"A-ah. Yeah. Inaasar ko lang si Reyna kapag ganun." I felt awkwardness.

I gaze at Gabby and she gave me an intriguing look. I just laughed and shook my head. I get what she's trying to convey. I have no feelings for King. He's just my friend. A very good friend.

"By the way, wala bang susundo sa'yo King?" Tanong ni mommy.

He shook his head. "Busy po sila mom and dad. Pero may pinadala naman po silang driver." King just became courteous. This is not him. Hahaha

"Kung gusto mo, sumabay ka nalang samin." Mommy offered which he immediately declined.

"H-hindi na po. I'm already fine with our driver. Hintayin ko nalang po siya." Bigla talagang naging magalang ang walang-hiyang King.

"Magtatampo si Reyna pag tumanggi ka pa. Ikaw din." Gabby abruptly stated.

"Really?" He looked at me. He then look at mommy. "Ok po tita. Sasabay nalang ako. Hindi ko na rin po mahintay yung driver." Wtf. In an instant, King changed his decision. He's unbelievable.
