When Charles began to cry you found yourself going to him, to help give Grace a break and to also sooth the young lad. You'd always loved children, as a child you wanted to be a teacher.
You picked the baby up and began to rock him. "Oi it's alright," You cooed in a sweet voice. "I got you," you said before you started to sing quietly.
Charles soon stopped his crying and instead nuzzled into you as he slowly drifted off to sleep in your loving arms.
"She's a natural," Arthur said as the Shelby boys watched you. "Good luck Michael boy, she'll be wanting her own soon!" John teased but Michael was too entranced at the sight of you with a baby in your arms to look away.
"Looks like Michael will be wanting one too," Thomas said with a smirk. "Suits her don't it," was all Michael could say in return. "That it does Michael, that it does." Thomas said as you laid the baby back down.
