Today is just another unproductive Saturday. It didn't help that it was also raining extremely badly. Rantarou didn't have plans for the most part, he just holed himself in his home to save himself from any troubles. "Alright everyone, I'll make lunch soon so make sure to gather together." Rantarou said with a smile to his sisters. "Okay! I'll go tell Haru!" Another sister, Chiyo, cheered and went up the stairs and towards the recluse's room. "Do you want me to help?" Aira asked as she walked towards Rantarou. "Oh no, it's fine. I'll just be making something simple." Rantarou reassured with a laugh as he tied an apron around his neck.

"Big brother! Can you make curry? Pleeeaase?" Rantarou heard the pleading of one of the youngest sisters, Aya. "Of course! Thank you for giving me an idea." Rantarou said with a chuckle as he patted his sister's head. Rantarou went into the kitchen and immediately started to make lunch for his sisters and himself. Every now and then, one of the younger sisters would come in to steal a bite as well as one of the older ones trying to help. When it was about done, everyone gathered to eat it all together.

As Rantarou was cleaning up after everyone and while his sisters were involved in their own shenanigans, the doorbell went off.

"Aimi, stop leavin' your backpack next to the couch. It's going to cause somethin'!" Maro could be heard scolding her younger sister, Aimi. Rantarou walked into the living room to watch Maro to continue to scold the young girl. Maro looked at his direction. "Right? Am I right?" She persisted. "Yeah, Maro is right, someone might trip." Rantarou explained and Aimi pouted. "It's a bad habit of mine but fine. I'll start putting it in my room." She said stubbornly and carried the heavy sack. "What's in there?!" Maro scolded. "Books." Aimi simply stated. "Really? They look like rocks." Another sister emerged. "Oh be quiet Sai! If it's not for me, you'd forget all your notebooks!" Aimi snapped. "Well you're not really lying. Let's just get your backpack upstairs." Sai admitted with a sigh. "Okay! But first I gotta get the door!" Aimi chimed and went to the door. Rantarou couldn't help but to wonder who would be at the door at this time.

Rantarou's curiosity only increased when Aimi went to the kitchen and said "it's for you, big brother!" He gave the cue he was coming as he took off the apron, washed his hands, and lowered his sleeves. When he followed Aimi he noticed that it was Shuuichi by the door. He was wearing his usual cap along with a large black coat and had a black umbrella in his hands. "Ah I'm sorry, I probably should've told you before hand.." Shuuichi said gently as he lowered his umbrella to close it. "No it's fine, come in!" Rantarou welcomes as Shuuichi walked inside. He closed the umbrella completely and set it aside before taking off his shoes. "I don't plan to stay for that long really, I just wanted to see how you were doing." Shuuichi explained. "Ah don't sweat it! But why when it's raining?" Rantarou asked. Shuuichi looked away. "D-don't think low of me or anything but my uncle went to his job and since it was really stormy, the lights went out.." Shuuichi explained sheepishly. "No that's a valid excuse, make yourself at home!" Rantarou said warmly that he saw Shuuichi's face go a little red as he murmured a polite 'thank you.'

"Please sit down, I'll get you something." Rantarou offered. "Oh no, it's fine." Shuuichi tried to reassure Rantarou but he insisted. "Oh big brother! I think we have some leftover curry!" One of Rantarou's sisters called out from the kitchen. Rantarou looked at Shuuichi. "Would you like to have some?" He offered with a smile. Shuuichi shyly nodded. When he managed to try some, he seemed to enjoy it. "Not to brag or anything but I actually made it." Rantarou said rather proudly. "Ah really? It's really good!" Shuuichi said with a smile. "I'm glad to hear that!" Rantarou smiled back. The two continued to engage in a pleasant conversation, mainly focusing on how the other was managing.

"T-thank you so much. The food was delicious, and your hospitality was much appreciated." Shuuichi said politely as he took his plate and began to get up. "Oh no, I'll put the plate away." Rantarou offered as he went to take it from Shuuichi's hands, their hands making brief contact for a moment. Shuuichi couldn't help but to get a little flustered as Rantarou's fingers brushed against his just for a brief moment. They were almost as warm as Rantarou himself. Rantarou told Shuuichi to stay put as he returned the dish back to its original place.

Rantarou didn't know exactly how it happened. He was walking back to the living room couch to sit next to Shuuichi but his foot made contact with Aimi's backpack. Oh curse her bad habit! Rantarou felt forward and before he knew it, he had his eyes shut tight. He could feel himself topple over Shuuichi but the worst part was that his lips were making contact with something else. Wait. Is this for real?! He slowly opened his eyes and immediately lifted his face. He noticed Shuuichi's hat fell and laid on the floor. Shuuichi still had his eyes closed but his face was red and Rantarou could hear him breathing a little heavily. Rantarou could see the soft pink tint of his lips. Rantarou put his fingers on his own lips, this really can't be real.

"I-I'm sorry big brother but if you're going to d-do that kind of thing, p-please do it in your room.." Rantarou heard his sister, Fumi, say from the distance. It was confirmed, something really surprising and embarrassing happened between the two. Shuuichi slowly opened his eyes, a soft grey hue emerging from thick and feminine eyelashes. He looked at Rantarou and loudly yelped. He scrambled to get off the couch while refusing to look at Rantarou, even pushing Rantarou's face away with his hands. "Wait Saihara! I-I didn't mean for that to happen!" Rantarou tried to reason but Shuuichi only looked away from him with a red face as he tried to get off. Rantarou tried to assist from attempting to get off Shuuichi but his knee ended up rubbing against Shuuichi's.....
Shuuichi let out a gasp. "I'm really sorry!" Rantarou said frantically. "I-it's fine just.. p-please don't move.." Shuuichi said softly.

As they were struggling, Rantarou could overhear his sisters arguing. "Aimi! I told you to move your backpack!" Maro scolded. "Why? I caused something good, no?" She replied. "I think you embarrassed him if anything." Chiyo reasoned. "I still did something!" Aimi countered. "You're reading too many love novels. When he leaves, apologize to big brother immediately!" Sai also scolded. "Hey, it wasn't intentional but it's still good." Aimi replied calmly. "You probably ruined their friendship." Marie said calmly. "Hey! Did we miss some discourse?" One of the twins, Kana suddenly bellowed. "Please no—" "Wow! He did like big brother!" The other sisters overheard the other twin, Hana, exclaim. "Everyone just leave big brother alone! It's probably hard enough to explain it all to Saihara-kun, don't make this any worse!" Aira came in and scolded everyone, rushing them away. However it was too late, their little argument left the two even more embarrassed, even making them freeze into place at one point due to shame.

"Hey, you alright?" Rantarou asked when they finally got up. Shuuichi's face was still red and he still refused to look at him. "T-that.." he tried to say something but he kept stopping himself. "What is it?" Rantarou asked. "T-that.. w-was my first kiss.." Shuuichi said softly. Rantarou immediately felt guilty. He couldn't believe that his careless mistake of tripping over his sister's backpack actually stole Shuuichi's first kiss without his permission. "Hey, you're not mad, are you?" Rantarou asked worriedly and to his relief, Shuuichi shook his head. "I-it's fine.. you didn't mean it.." He said softly, finally looking at Rantarou. Shuuichi lowered his shirt, most likely embarrassed from Rantarou's knee going in the wrong place.

Right when things couldn't get any worse, the front door burst open. "Ouma?! What the hell?! How did you get in?" Rantarou let out. Indeed it was Kokichi at the doorway, wearing a puffy hoodie and holding a small box. "What? I came here to deliver some new pastries mom made. She said that she wants some people to try it before it goes on the menu. Akamatsu-Chan already tried some and liked it so I wanted you to try and plus your door was—- Wait." Kokichi squinted his eyes at Shuuichi. "Oho, what happened here?" He asked with a smirk. "N-nothing..!" Shuuichi exclaimed, though his face proved otherwise. "Yeah really. Nothing big." Rantarou added but Kokichi only furrowed his eyebrows. "Guys. I'm the professional liar, I know when someone is clearly spewing bs." Kokichi said calmly, his tone reeking with skepticism. "Oh yeah! Big brother and Saihara here kinda had a moment!" Hana bellowed and she was dragged away by another sister before she could elaborate.

Kokichi didn't need to hear anymore. "Nishishi~ I didn't mean to intrude~" He said with an amused tone. "Guys please stop." Rantarou said with a groan, covering his face with his hand. "Anyway! Let's forget a possible makeout moment and try these sweets before they get all weird and soggy from the rain." Kokichi said with a smile. "Did you really have to say that?" Rantarou said with groan. "Hell yeah I had to!" Kokichi said cheerfully as he completely intruded.

At least with Ms. Ouma's delicious sweets, they managed to get over the rather embarrassing moment.
