Kate's pov
We finally get on the plane after waiting for 20 long minutes, I can't wait to find out where we're going! I'm sitting in the window seat next to Anna and then across from her is Brittany, we're flying first class because it's about a 7 hour flight and we can afford it.
After 7 long hours the pilot comes over head "we are now starting to land in Portland Maine" I look at Anna with the widest grin ever.
Kate- omg we're in Maine!!
Anna-gee it's not that exciting...
Kate- yes it is, it's where your parents live! Oh wait they're my grandparents
Anna- yes they are!
Britt- awh you're so cute
Kate- sure sure
Anna's pov
I can't wait for Kate to meet my parents I'm sure they'll fall in love with her all over again just like I did. I'm sure we'll go and see Brittany's parents soon so Kate can meet them too.
After we get our bags and our rental car we finally make it to my parents house, I can't believe they still live here after all these years. I hop out of the car, tell Kate to hide behind me and go ring the door bell.
Janice(Anna's mum)- Anna!!! I can't believe your here!
Anna- me ether!!
Janice- and Brittany my favourite daughter in-law
Britt- hey Janice
Janice- come inside you must be freezing, it's about to start snowing!
Anna- we actually brought someone else too mom
Britt- you're going to love her
(Anna and Britt step to the side)
Kate- hey
Janice- Anna why have you brought a child here?
Anna- mum... it's Kate
Janice- oh my gosh.... it's you
Kate- yeah...it's me
Janice- all of you come inside so we can talk...
Janice- William honey come in here
William(Anna's dad)- who's this??
Anna- dad it's Kate
William- oh my gosh...
Anna- so about a month ago I went to Australia to go and see if Kate wanted to come back with me and she did. We have been living at my house with Brittany of course and came to surprise you!
Janice- well that is quite a story but Kate, welcome back into the family even though you never really left
Kate- thank you so much
