Kate's pov
It was the scariest thing I've ever witnessed. One minute we were jamming out to the radio and the next minute I'm in a hospital with a broken ankle and dislocated shoulder. The doctors have put my shoulder back in place, put a cast on my ankle and given me a lot of pain meds. I haven't heard anything about Anna or Paige yet, I really hope they're okay.
I sit up and turn on the t.v to watch some boring show that was on and a nurse comes in and knocks on the door.
"Hey Paige you have visitors" the nurse says "Hey Kate" mumma whispers
"It's ok you can talk normally I'm not like in a coma" I laugh
Mumma and Paige's faces drop dead.
"What's wring why aren't you laughing?" I ask
"Uh Kate, Mum's in a coma, she was really hurt in the crash. She's in surgery right now getting rods put in her spinal cord" Paige explains
I start to quiver, then I burst out into tears.
"It's ok, the doctors say she should wake up within the next few days." Mumma cries choking on her tears.
I could tell that everyone was trying to sleep but I know that we all couldn't after what had happened. We hadn't been called to see Mum yet and I was starting to get worried. Maybe they wanted to wait until morning? It was around 5 am so I just stayed up flicking through channels on the t.v. Soon enough everyone gave up on sleep and did something else.
"Morning Girls, Kate we will need to get you a wheel chair and then you can be discharged." The nurse says
"Thank you, any updates on Anna Kendrick?" I ask
"Uh yes, I need to speak to you about her." The nurse starts.
"Oh no this couldn't be good." I think
"Anna is still in a coma. In the crash her spinal cord snapped and now she had paralysis in both her legs. She may never walk again. I'm so sorry I had to tell you like this, I'll go get that wheel chair." The nurse says
"Wait!, what about the baby?" Mumma asks
"I'm so sorry she had lost the baby." The nurse trails off to go find a wheel chair.
Brittany's pov
I burst into tears, my baby can't be paralysed. I know this will work out but she will never be the same again. This could ruin her career or maybe she could keep acting, it's all up to her and I'm going to be by her side the whole time.
"Here's the wheel chair just sign these leave it on the bed and Anna's in room 131." The nurse says
"Yep" Paige says
