"Um, what's up with him?" You heard stark ask, walking further into the room, "Are you guys okay-? Okay, what just happened?" "An argument that no one asked for," Loki replied. "Y/N, you good?" He looked at your face, guilt painted all over it.
You felt your bags drag down your face as you nodded, not looking to him. As he put a hand to his cheek, he pulled it down and said he'd go check on Thor. Loki thanked him for worrying, before he left in a calm tone.
As his hands moved your face at him, your eyes following and meeting his rich emeralds. "Thor is just caught up in himself, something else, probably, don't let it bother you." He said, before whispering, "Please." "Do you not think it is my fault though? Think about it..."
"Thor. You need to calm down; take a seat." Rogers said sternly, worried that he would break something — or someone. "He's right. There's no point in just pacing back and forth so tensed." "Do none of you understand?! Of course none of you do, you haven't been through it! I've tried so hard to stay close with Loki but he never takes notice! Always going off to Y/N!" Thor yelled aloud.
You and Loki fell silent, hearing Thor's voice echo through the hallways. "I ruined your relationship, I'm so sorry..." Your voice broke as your eyes wamred. "You have absolutely nothing to apologise for, this isn't your fault. Just because you tried, and he didn't, that doesn't mean you should pay for his mistakes." You sighed silently as it fell silent for a moment between you both. "Let's get out for a while." He said, shielding you both from all eyes. You nodded.
The two of you walked, hand in hand, through the hallway and livingroom (where Thor was yelling) and left. "Where are we going?" You finally asked as you both walked out of the tower doors. "Away." As he took lead, you watched him walk on confidently, your eyes falling to your hands.
