Loki started at himself in the mirror, "What if they don't want to?" "... It was years ago, they probably don't care," You told him, "They probably understand." "Understand?" You shrugged awkwardly, "Maybe-? Anyway, come on," You tugged his arm and he spun around to face you. "I don't think I've ever seen you so nervous," You raised an eyebrow. "I don't want to be why she's sad," He muttered, a small smile planted onto his lips as he hugged you; head leaning against yours. Cuddling into him, you reassured him once again and the two of you left the room.
You knocked on her door, "Are you ready?" "Yes!" She opened the door with a wide smile and you chuckled, kneeling to push back her hair, "Beautiful! Let's go."
Friday. The last day of working days, also Abigail's last school day. You and Loki smiled to eachother as Abigail let go of both of your hands and yelled hello to Willow. Shyly, she turned around and smiled back to Abigail; they hugged. "Why don't you both get into the classroom, okay?" A soft voice told the kids; an accent. "Okay, mum," Willow nodded calmly, took Abigail's hand and walked in.
"You must be Willow's parents, hello," You shook their hands with a warm smile. "Yes, we are, and you Abigail?" the mother's smiled. You nodded, "I'm Y/N, and this is Loki." They greeted Loki and smiled, "I'm Sarah, and this is my husband Steven." "I see, hello. Actually, we were hoping to find you today," You told them. "Oh, whatever for?" He wondered, putting an arm around his wife. "Actually, Abigail is going to be, well, homeschooled starting next week. She's told us that herself and Willow are already really close and she would love for your daughter to be able to visit." "Oh!" Steven chuckled, "Of course!" Sarah chuckled too, "That's no problem; none at all. I'm sure our Willow would love that." You and Loki smiled widely, "That's wonderful!" "Could we look around and meet family, maybe, tomorrow or Sunday? If it's not a problem." Sarah asked, Steven nodding. "Of course," Loki said, "Any time in particular that the two of you would prefer?" "Tomorrow, maybe 2? Our little girl often wakes a little later on Saturdays, you see," Sarah told you both with a giggle.
Moments later: "It was wonderful meeting you both," Sarah said, as herself and Steven shook both of your hands. "Likewise," You smiled widely.
"I told you it was going to go great," You smiled to Loki as you both walked back.
