"Mr. Drowned, we were hoping to get some more information to you" You said, storming inside of his office after his visit of the death of Jane, the young rich maiden who died mysteriously
His eyes were fixed on your body like stripping you naked with his eyes only 'eww', you noticed and pointed towards your face "My eyes are up here!" You said much more louder than you intended to
"Oh sorry, I was just quite bothered by your uniform, was it changed during the summer?" He asked ignoring your remarks awhile ago
"Umm sir I was here to interview you on the tragic event of Jane's death" you spoke as he quickly thought of an answer and replied
"It wasnt that easy but we found out that she was killed with poison, we were stupid enough to strip the house naked thinking it was weapon because the girl was marked with blood ; she did it with her nails, looks like she was overdosed and had gone crazy to hurt her self to death till the drugs kicked in although it wasnt specified as suicide,murder to be specific" he answered on the microphone
You said some stuff on camera and signed off before turning your head towards the detective "Thank you very much sir for the interview, how can i repay you" you said
"How about a dinner at my place, just you and me, hmm?" He respond and you nodded "Sure, pick me at the news station at 8 sir"
"Call me Ben, miss" he said as he walked off in his office before asking for your number and walking off again
The cameraman was so confused he cant put words on how he felt in the scene 'Did they remember I was actually there all along?' He thought but shrugged it off and went with his partner, y/n
The sun went out and the bright round white rock escaped to present its appearance ; you brushed the dirt off your f/c laced dress and began to walk the front porch of your home
"Y/n! You're really beautiful" your neighbor, Toby yelled from garden ; helping out his admirer, who is annoying by the way
Natalie a.k.a. Clockwork looked at him as if he just offended her with her insecurities "Are you kidding me? I thought we're together!" She huffed, leaning on the fence
Toby rolled his eyes and stumbled on the way towards you "You look adoring this fine night! What caused you to be so?" He asked in a new york accent as you giggled a bit
"Im actua-" the sound of a cough made you pause your sentence to flip your head to the source
"Hi miss y/n" Ben greeted in a black tuxedo complimented by a red and white necktie, his designer pants and dress shoes positioned as his lower clothing
You were jaw dropped "You look magnificent as when we two met the first time" he said, offering a hand
You gladly grabbed it "That was just today!" You laughed
He escorted you to his gosh darn expensive limousine with a chauffeur standing beside the car door "Evening, Mr. Drowned and to you too Miss" he greeted, smiling sheepishly at the two of you
He then opened the door for you both, Ben stepped aside and gestured for you to come in "Ladies first" he said with a huge smile
You smiled too and went in the luxurious car "I've never went in a limo in my whole life before" You said ; looking around the vehicle with admiration
"Well...its only one of them, there's more than this m'lady" he smirked, obviously bragging about his fortune
"Yeah yeah sure rich man" you waved him off before waving at Toby who was back beside Natalie with a frown across his lips, he waved back at you though
Ben checked his gold watch "We're a bit early for our reservation in the resort so I guess we have plenty of time free for ourselves before dinner, so Miss reporter, where to?" He asked, leaning towards your direction since he was across from you
"Hmm.. how about Laser tag?" You said, a wide curve spread your lips ; he replied with 'huh?'
"Wait you havent played Laser tag?!" You yelled faking a disgusted face while placing your fabulous palm on your chest
The man's irritated face made you stop your actions and began to explain the game
'God, he is one easily tempered person' you thought, huffing in annoyance
The agreement was settled, Laser tag it is!
You jumped off the car and pulled the millionaire over towards the arcade, the elevator was supreme awkward but the result was awesome, looks like you both were playing with two grown men both in red and blue shirts
They look really vicious when they talk crap to each other, several "You're on" "I bet you're gonna lose anyways" trash talks filled the arena as you all carefully walked slowly at corners to find the other players
"Y/n, is it?" The guy in a red shirt asked
"Yeah, why?"
"See that guy in a blue shirt" he whispered which you and him can only hear "Make sure he gets a beating, I fuckin' hate that guy"
You nodded and removed your heels "Let the hunger games begin" Ben joked as you all laughed and went serious after a while
The green shirted guy pulled you to a corner and glanced at the nearby opponents "Plan is Im gonna stay over there, You are gonna stay in this area,okay, keep your eyes sharp for them" 'He takes it way too srsly'
You nodded in response as he ran off "Now where are you Ben?" You called out as a large huff broke the silence
Ben was bringing his gun professionally and was pointing at the surroundings, alerted
You decided to scare him by shooting him and hiding behind a large block of cube
He got stunned and looked for the player while waiting for his turn to shoot again "Come out where-"
You slammed him on the wall as the two teens continued to fight with each other
"Hi detective" you smirked as you pushed your lips on his making him shock, you pulled away not giving him time to respond
You looked at each other's eyes as you kept that smirk on your face "Boom" you said while shooting him again
You laughed and fist bumped with your ally
The detective looked dumbfounded "How?!"
"Love is allowed in the battlefield so you had to open your eyes and focus" The male in the blue shirt said before walking off
"You're so gonna get it, Y/n!!"
