During the 1690s in Salem, Michigan anyone suspected of being a witch was drowned or burned at the stake. It was believed that all the magic was purged from the small town so long ago. But little to be known the magic lived on and a few witches survived. Now in modern times it became a safe haven for those who are magically gifted, but there are still those who remain who are against the craft.
Anise Vonner is a kitchen witch who practices her craft through the food she makes at her diner, Brighid's Hearth. Eros D'Ambroise is a solitary witch who specializes in love magic and owns a matchmaking company. Anise and Eros have known each other since childhood along with the other witch children. Eros has always teased and flirted with Anise and she would always laugh at him. Now in adulthood nothing has changed, but Eros hopes to change that soon. In truth he adores Anise and he wants to win her heart without magic. But it's a bit hard for withes to be undisturbed in the venture for love when there are those out their trying to run them out of Salem.
