Enter in the masquerade
And let your senses be betrayed
Let it swell from deep inside
And give in to your darker side
Let it soak into your skin,
Let it pull you, take you in.
Like a lover's sweet caress,
There one moment, gone the next.
Let all your inhibitions fly,
And if it hurts you, please don't cry.
For we've no room for sorrows here,
And heat will soon replace your fear.
Hold close this madness, and this dark.
Feel inside you, there's a spark.
Ignite it! Set your soul afire,
This ancient want, this strong desire.
In this place where lies are sold,
There is more truth than you can hold.
So let it take you, spin and dance,
Give your thoughts away to chance.
Let the colours reel and twirl,
Ruby, saphire, emerald, pearl.
Let the music take you high,
Sing your soul out to the sky.
As the night draws to an end,
and as your soul is on the mend,
Keep this sweetness, and this bliss,
And all your memories of this.
In this world of fallen dreams,
Life is not always as its seems.
