She’s all inside my head
Twisting my thoughts and melting my heart
She’s haunting my dreams and splitting me apart
From the moment I met her I’ve been going insane
How can such an angel cause me pain?
What could she possibly gain?
Her amber eyes leave me wanting more
She’s constantly there like an open sore
Yearning for the taste of her poison kiss
That cold touch is the one I miss
Just being next to her is like lethal bliss
What if only once I could know what its like
To feel the burn of the match she strikes
Close enough to touch but I’m still frozen
I can’t change the path I have already chosen
How am I suppose to feel about this love I’ll never know
All I wanted was to take it slow
But she’s a whirlwind of highs and lows
Her amber eyes leave me wanting more
She’s constantly there like an open sore
Yearning for the taste of her poison kiss
That cold touch is the one I miss
Just being next to her is like lethal bliss
She holds her head high but won’t let me hold her heart
Such chaos and destruction in one beautiful work of art
Every step closer she gets is another that I pass
She turns my every movement to shattered glass
Her amber eyes leave me wanting more
She’s constantly there like an open sore
Yearning for the taste of her poison kiss
That cold touch is the one I miss
Just being next to her is like lethal bliss
The sight of her is like a weighing chain
A feeling that I can’t quite explain
But still
I’m waiting for her poison kiss
This time I guarantee I will not miss
