Directly above my window you shine ever so bright,
all through the darkness, all through the night.
Pure and innocent, silky and white,
glowing with life and a romantic sight.
You bring goodness to the dark,
and life to the sad.
You bring warmth to the cold,
and right to the bad.
You a sight of comfort,
a sight of contempt…
a sight of purity,
and a sight of a friend.
Your brightness captures all those who stare,
at your elegance, your beauty and your freedom up there.
You like an inspiration but a very silent kind,
You are a cleanser to everybody’s mind.
