a/n: i've been a fan since Don't Want You :') look how fast she's growing

"Let me leave."

"You're not leaving!"

Jaxon shoved his hands in his pockets, standing in front of me impatiently. It's been a few days and Jaxon's recovery has been well which surprised me. He wasn't feeling like he was on the brink of dying anymore and his face is completely healed. Now he thinks he can leave now but, I wasn't allowing it.

"I'm fine now, Kimora." Jaxon starting to tap his foot. "Why won't you let me leave?"

"Because I know you're lying to me." I glared at him.

He shrugged. "My rib is healed." I raised an eyebrow and quickly touched where his bruised rib was. He winced, swatting my hand away. "Okay. Maybe it hurts a little."

I sniffed the air. "I smell bullshit." He groaned, ruffling his already messy hair. I don't get why he was so damn persistent about leaving. I put my hands on my hips, starting to get annoyed. "Where do you need to go that is more important than your wellbeing?"

"I just need fresh air."

"Then go open a window."

He let out an exasperated sigh, sitting back on the arm of the couch. He pouted staring out the window like a child who was told no candy. It was funny but, I needed to be serious. Jaxon could easily pick me up and move me out of his way. I know I was no threat to him but, that didn't stop me.

I walked closer to him. I know he could see me by the way from his jaw clenched. "Jaxon, I know you don't like being caged inside all day. I just don't want you to go out and do something stupid to get yourself hurt."

He kept staring out the window and I glared at the side of his head, grabbing his chin to look at me. "Don't be mad because I'm trying to help you."

"I'm not." He said defensively. I dropped my hand from his face, still keeping his gaze. "Jaxon, you're acting like a girl. You're mad."

He blinked at me, not saying anything. He's so stubborn and it's irking me. I rolled my eyes and looked at the clock on the wall before meeting his eye again. "Where do you want to go?"

"Anywhere but, here." He simply said.

I nodded. "Fine. You can go as long as I go with you."

He smiled, swiftly wrapping his arms around me and pulling closer. "Thanks, Kitten. You're the best."

"Yeah, yeah. Just let me go get ready." I put my hands on his shoulders, trying to pry myself away from him but, he kept ahold of me.

"You look great already," He looked at the white romper I was wearing.

I scrunched my nose. "I'm not going out like this and I smell like you."

He smirked. "What's wrong with that?"

"Everything."

He laughed, letting me go so I could go and get ready.
