Now, usually, I wasn't that girl who respond to messages from strangers, but this- this was different. He had said he saw me today, maybe this "person" who claimed he attended my school, was in fact; Alex.

But then again, a lot of people saw me today. Walking alongside Grey and Antony and being unseen was a "mission impossible."

I stare down at the glowing phone screen, wondering how to respond.

The Instagram username was: anonymous098711

I had no idea who it was, but they certainly knew who I was. That being one of the reasons I responded.

I finally decide to go with a simple:

Me: Hi?

Seconds didn't even pass by, when the second 'ding' buzzed through my phone.

anonymous098711: So it is Ginger?

Me: Yep.

Duh!

anonymous098711: Oh, ok.

Well this was getting awkward. So I decide to throw the wild card out and ask this "stranger" the question which was my main intention for accepting his message request.

Me: Total wild question coming up.

I wait for him to reply, and he did, seconds later. Through those seconds, I wonder if he was thinking about his future answer.

anonymous098711: shoot!

Ok then.

Me: You don't happen to be, let's just say, Mr. Bad Boy?

anonymous098711: Mr. Bad Boy? Alex you mean, you think he is a bad boy?

Well that proved me, maybe this wasn't Alex after all.

Me: Yeah, well, I mean everyone does. Don't you?

anonymous098711: Why do you ask?

Huh?

Me: ask what?

anonymous098711: Why did you ask if I was him?

How was I supposed to say this?

Oh, Alex was watching me all day, and I thought it was you since you said you saw me. Even though everyone else did also.

Yeah, no. That's for guarantee failure.

So I settle for something a little more vague.

Me: Because I was just being curious, I mean are you Alex?

anonymous098711: No. Now tell me the real reason you asked.

Oh, he's a cleaver one!

Me: You stated that you saw me today and well, Alex was kind of staring. So I was just wondering.

anonymous098711: You really think, The Alex Shavo was staring at you? You being the considered "nerd."

Nerd? Is that really what people thought of me. Nerd? I've always hated that term. Labeling kids smarter than you so they feel categorized. That was so dumb!

Me: I'm not a nerd!

anonymous098711: really? 'Cause that's not what I hear around the school.

Me: Well, I'm still not a nerd.

anonymous098711: Nerds are good and you are good.

Me: If that was meant as a compliment, it just came off as judging me before you've actually met me.

I felt as if this awkward conversation, just got even awkwarder.

anonymous098711: so are you saying you're not good?

Me: yep, I'm bad!

Minutes went by before I received a reply.

anonymous098711: I challenge you to be a bad girl and not only in your mind, but to everyone else around you.

Before I knew what my fingers were doing, I sent a message that had sealed the deal.

Me: fine! I'll do it.

anonymous098711: I'd like to see you try!

I prepare myself to type a witty response, but was cut off by a knock at my door.

Who could that be, it was so late!

I hop off my bed and make my way over to the door. Pulling it open, I came face to face with a smiling Grey.

"We have a surprise!" He whisper yells knowing our parents were probably asleep.

He motions for me to follow him, and I do, across the hall to his room.

"Where's Antony?" I whisper after him. He grabs my hand in his and pulls me towards his room, pushing me inside. I stumble into his room, and I feel his hands cover my eyes.

"He's in here too."

"Oh." I breathe.

I hear movement from a distance, then I hear someone begin to count backwards from three.

"Three, two."

I recognize it as Anthony's deep voice.

When he finally reaches one, Grey's hand is removed from my eyes and I gape in shock.

Laid out in front of me is a line of candies, chips, sodas and movies. They were all gathered on a fluffy yellow blanket that was spread across Grey's floor.

I run towards the blanket and take a seat, Antony and Grey following.

"So, about that movie night."

We always watched a movie before dinner, then continue our session at night. But we missed the "before dinner" one. But I'm sure this'll make up. I gaze at all the snacks, we had a long night ahead of us!

I giggle in excitement and made myself comfortable by laying my head on Grey's chest. He always ran his fingers through my hair, so he was always my "go to chest" man.

My only worry for tonight was getting caught. By my parents that is. Staying up till one in the morning on a school night was a big "no no" in this family. But I'd think my mother would of caught onto us by now. The day after, she always found me in Grey's bed and we were always exhausted and slouchy.

Even if we do get caught, It has become a tradition since I was thirteen and my brothers were fourteen. This will never end, at least I hope!

"Let's get this started!"
