Rock

I was wiping the windows when I notice the familiar cherry red Jaguar pull up.

Nia was inside the car.

She pecked him on the lips before getting out.

" the fuck" I thought to myself.

So many thoughts were running through my mind.

How could she take this nigga back after he beat the shit out of her.

The  dude had the nerve to smirk at me before he pulled off.

Punk ass.

" yo Nia"  I said making her stop in her tracks.

" so y'all back cool now?"

She didn't even look up at me when I questioned her.

" y-yea we are" she said

I knew she was trippen. this was his way of controlling her.

" Nia look at me"

She slowly reveal her beautiful face. I ain't see no bruises though.

" why ma, he ain't gone treat  you right if he didn't the first time"

" Rock h-he's a change man, and I believe him"

" yooo Nia snap out of it. he doesn't love you sweet heart"

This was not her.

" Rock just mind your own business ok" she said getting a lil  loud.

This was some bull, I swear.

" This man has already brain washed you"

" talk to you later ma" I said walking away.

" there won't be no later"

I stop from where I was.

" excuse me" I said looking at her.

She couldn't be serious

" you heard me"

" nah I didn't so speak up" I said stepping close to her making her take a step back.

Shorty was really fronting. This was not her just last weekend.

" there won't be no later" she said.

Ma couldn't even look me in my face.

I nodded my head feeling frustrated.

" aight if that's how you want it cool" I said.

I had nothing left to say.

Deep down I know I should be fighting for her friendship but being through the shit I been through it was useless.

People come and go.

Including her

I got back to work.

Nia

I can't believe I just did that.

After talking to Rock. I knew our friendship was over with.

Ashton gave me no choice.

It all took place last night.

He told me I shouldn't be hanging around a criminal.
