Shelby's POV
I sat there scrolling through instagram waiting for my bestfriend Emery to finish this song he wrote for the FIYM's album. I had no clue what the song sounded like or what it was about because it was a surprise apparently. Emery made me keep my earphones in until he tells me to take them out. Every now and then I would glance up and catch him looking at me.
I don't know about him lately. He has been really weird. He keeps doing weird things like staring at me and hugging me alot. I mean I don't mind because yeah I do have a crush on him but still.
I looked up to see Ricky talking to him in the recording room (A/N: bare with me here... I forgot what it was called) Liam walked up to me. "Hey I'm going to Panda Express, you want anything?" "Nah I'm okay," I smiled. Liam went into the recording studio to ask Ricky and I could've sworn I saw him wink at Emery but I let it slide.
They both walked out smiling like idiots. Which makes perfect sense since their both really idiots. "Hey Shelbs?" I glance back over at Emery. "Yeah Em" "Are you ready to listen to the song now?" "Yes FINALLY" I jump up to sit in the main chair. Its only him and I in the studio now so this will he interesting. He smiles before putting his headphones back on. He starts to sing.

You smile as he finishs the song looking at you with sparkling eyes. He takes the headphones off and walk into the main room.
"So... do you like it?"he says sitting in the DJ's chair. "Yeah, who's it about?" "This girl I've been in love with forever." He says blushing. I look at him confused. He's never told me about a girl.
"And whos that?" I ask curiously.
"You" He smiles.
I look at him completely frozen. "Say something please." He slightly frowns. I grab his face and pulls him in for a kiss. He smiles and then says, "I'm guessing you like me too?" "You're a good at guessing you know." "I know" he smirks. He suddenly looks at me seriously. "I have a question?" "Ask away"
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Of course."
Liam and Ricky burst through the door cheesing. "Where's your food?" I ask glaring at them. "Oh yeah about that...." Liam blushes. "We didnt get any" Ricky bursts out saying. I look at them then back a Emery. We stay like this for about a minute before bursting out laughing. I swear i love these idiots.
