The hospital

"She's okay." Kian whispers in my hair, as I watch them load up my best friend. 

Vanessa's POV 

"Take me to her." I turn to Kian. 

"I will." Aaron tells me. 

"My car is faster, lets just go." Kian tells him. Aaron doesn't argue, he just follows me and Kian out to his car. 

I stare out the window until we reach the building with familiar flashing trucks. 

I feel a hand briefly touch mine and I don't bother to pull away. 

Veronica's POV 

I woke up to white. All white. 

People moving around me. 

Name. Veronica

How old was I? 21. 

"It's okay honey." The woman above me said. 

"Where..What happened..' 

And at that second, I remembered. Like in the movies. All a rush. 

I wished I could laugh. Make a corny joke, but I couldn't.

I could have died. I could have been gone. 

"Aaron." The name rolled off my lips as they unloaded me into the hospital and onto a bed. 

Then he runs to the side of my bed. His hair messed up and tears in his eyes.

"I love you, Roni."
