manor
of ghosts.

Excited to
meet
the beast who
struck
fear in hearts.

Rumors spread
wide
villagers thought
her
mad and proud.

She flickered
them
away with a
hand
and went her way.

A sheep was what
she
found hiding
in the
wolf skin.

"Why people
feared
the sheep,"
she
asked the fellow?

"Ah! afraid
of the
unknown so
I
played along."

"Some brave
souls
arrived but
later
they hide."

"Society they
perceived
ruled the
village with
expectations."

Rose was
astonished
for
she loved
exploring.

Why fear the
unknown
when you
don't
know enough.

Every path
is
filled with
surprises,
tricks and treats.

Don't stay behind
and
hear the
adventures
you wanted.

Break the wall
of fear
and take the
road
never taken.

They say
life
is a journey
so make
it such.

Adventures/journey don't necessarily mean travel to some place or have those majestic events or success stories (those are awesome too). This could be anything from fun time spent with friends & family to doing a thing that you always wanted to do.

We tend to choose the things that we are familiar with and leave the other. Some choices are because we prefer it that way, some because everyone's doing it and some are because of the fear of the unknown.
That itself is a journey, the ups-and-downs, the experience and memories we gather. So take a step out from your comfort zone to the unknown. Maybe it will surprise you. \m/
