Once upon Peter Pan came
back from the Neverland.
Mystified by the spreading trend
among the youth of this land.

The parks were empty.
Outdoor courts were rusting,
Crying for a little attention
From the feet to tap and dance.

Legs came & sat on benches,
Hands got their shiny toys out.
Tip-Tap-Click were the sounds floating
In the deep surrounding crowd.

Horrified with the scenes found,
Was this how they escaped now?
Where were the playing grounds?
Where were the games to hide?
Where was the innocence lost?
What's with all the faces so frost?

Flying above the houses & alleys,
He found the answer to his query.
Cellphones were the playing grounds
& digital world was the place to hide.

Hidden truths & fake identities,
Cutting time playing online.
He breathed in and breathed out,
'It's ok, It's fine.'

They needed to be taught again.
The fun of childhood adventures,
The fun of running wild in sand
Together with my Lost Boys & Neverland.
