Jaeden's POV
• wednesday december 31st 4:31am •
"I'm going to miss you." She says with tears streaming down her face.

"I'm going to miss you more." I say, wiping her tears with my thumb.

I pull her in for a hug.

She digs her head into my chest and I rest my cheek on top of her hair.

"Flight 379 to Montréal. Please safely board your flight."

"That's me Lils." I say.

"Don't go, please." She sobs.

"You'll survive without me." I say kissing her forehead.

She nods and hugs me once more.

"Bye Jaeden."

"Goodbye Lilia." I say, walking away.

It felt like my heart just shattered into a million pieces.

As I board my plane, I look back towards the airport.

The spark.

Lilia's POV
• wednesday december 31st 4:47am •
I walk to the bathroom and wipe the tears from my face.

I miss him already.

This hurt so bad.

I remember when we were little, having play dates and birthday party's.

"You're being silly, Jaeden." Lilia says, pushing him away.

"No, I'm not! You're being silly!" He replies.

"Give me the cookie. Angela will yell at you if you eat it!" She says, holding her hand out.

"Fine! But can I have a little bit?" He said, giving her the chocolate chip cookie.

"Okay. But don't tell Angela!" She whispers, giving Jaeden a small piece of her cookie.

I smile to myself thinking about it.

Jaeden being famous was hard but he was so talented and he deserved every smile he put on peoples faces.

I hear footsteps coming up towards my room.

The person opens my door.

"Jaeden!" I shout.

I run up and hug the tall figure.

"I've missed you so much!" I smile, digging my head into his chest.

"I've missed you so much more. You don't even know it Lils." Jaeden says.

We break out of our hug and I grab my phone. I take a picture.

"Stop it!" He groans.

"You love it!" I smile.

He suddenly tickles me and I laugh hysterically.
