Jocelyns POV: Hi, I'm Jocelyn shay I currently live in New York with my mom brother and sister even though I don't live with them I live in a pretty nice flat about two blocks from them.

My dad died about two years ago from a bad car accident. Which left me, my older brother, mom and little sister heart break. I had a very normal childhood including going on vacations, parks and family events we all where very close to each other after my father passed my mom started doing drugs she never did them in front of us but she'd always go back to her room and me and my older brother would know exactly what she was doing my mom would also hide that she was sad about my fathers passing all the time my little sister is 3 and my brother is 29 and I'm 26. (Pretend Antonio is about that age too thx ❤️) I have been looking for places in Chicago for quite a while because I want to start a fresh life Chicago isn't a place I've never been in before. Me and my family would go down there to visit my aunt and uncle and cousins. Don't get me started on how I know Hank Voight it's kinda hard to explain we'll what happen was my dad and him go back quite a bit they used to be partners. Oh I guess I forgot to tell you that my dad was a detective for nypd and my mother is a doctor or was a doctor she was moved down to a nursing position because they found out she was doing drug.
I found a nice house it really nice. So let me tell you something I left out about my childhood my grandpa owned the hospital of New York so he did pretty well with money when he died from natural causes he split the money between me my brother, sister, mom and dad which got me to be able to buy the stuff I have so I found a nice house in Chicago

Now it's time to get packing I need to be there in three days so I then get into my car and drive to the post office and pay for a bunch of extra large boxes and I go home and start packing stuff in my bathroom and the rest of the rooms. The next day
Everything is packed and ready to go into the moving truck which just arrived a few minutes ago then three men knocked on my door I opened it and they put all my boxes and furniture into the moving truck then I make my way to the airport.
(Skips plane ride)
The plane just landed. I get off the plane and go to the Uber I called in a few minutes ago the Uber drives me to my house and I see the moving truck is already here (pretend that is somewhat possible 😂) I unpack the boxes and me and the guys move furniture where i desire it and boom done I pay the guys and they leave now it's time to visit family I say as I leave the house after locking the door I drive to where my aunt and uncle live they answer the door "Oh my Jocelyn what are you doing in Chicago?" My aunt says "I moved here to start over because mom isn't doing good" I say looking down "Why didn't you let us know we could have came down to see you" she says as my uncle comes behind her along with my cousin "Hey guys" I say waving behind my aunt she looks back and sees them "Where's Leslie?" I ask "At the firehouse!" My uncle says "Well I should get down and see her" I say to them we grant goodbyes and I head to firehouse 51

How do you like the first chapter?
So I know everyone knows that Jocelyn will end up with Antonio but she will have other dates before she settles down with him so I just want to let you guys know so you don't come after me
I just though about the fact that in every book Hank Voight is either my dad or family friend but hank is a very important part of Chicago's franchise and I also think highly to him in Chicago P.D., fire and med so don't judge me and I also think he's bad ass aswell😂🚔
