We're all family!!

Jocelyn's P.O.V
I get to the firehouse and I see the squad table "Hey shay" they all shout and I guess that got Leslie's attention because she walked out to where the rest are with gabby "oh my gosh" is all she says before she runs over to me and hugs me
"Your happy to see me"I say laughing
"Well duh I haven't seen you in two years since your dad died by the way I'm sorry" she says with sympathy
"Me and my sibling are doing ok with the loss but Mom isn't doing to well she got into drugs and it's only going to get worse and I don't want to take Julie away from her because she'll only get worse as for Joshua he is about to get a house down there he's been in a steady relationship for two years so I only wish the best for his years to come" I say as I watch shays facial expressions change throughout the conversation.
"I glad things are going good on your sibling behalf but I think your mother needs to get help before it's to late honestly" she says
"I know I just can't say hey Mom you need help I might talk to hank because he might be able to help" I say to her
"That's good" She says smiling
"Yeah hopefully He can help me he has always been here for us I don't like asking him for things because he is so willing to do stuff for us I just don't want him to go out of the way yanno?" I ask
"Of course, everyone at Chicago pd, fire and med are family you can always ask us for help" she says
"Yeah I know"I say
"When are you going back to New York?" She asks
"I'm here to stay I came to start fresh because I don't know how much longer I could just sit and watch my mom do this stuff to herself" I say and I see her get a mad expression in her face
"What the fuck Jocelyn, you left your brother and 3 year old sister to deal with your drug addict mother because you don't feel like dealing with her? That's selfish like reallly fucking messed up" she says and walks away leaving me in a daze. Then I feel a hand on my shoulder I look over and see kelly
"Let her cool if she didn't mean those things she said" he says and I look up at him with a dumbfounded look
"No she meant every word that came out of her mouth" I say angry and walk to my car and drive down to district 21

(Skips drive)

I arrive there and I walk up to the desk Sargent I look at her name tag and it reads 'Sargent Trudy Platt' and I walk up to her
"Hi I'm here to see Hank Voight?" I ask
"let me call him" she says with a unwanted attitude
"Thanks" I say rolling my eyes
"He said you can go up, so I'll buzz you up"she says
"Ok thanks" I say to her as she walks around the desk and goes to the gate and buzzes me up I walk up and I see all of Intelligence
"Hey, how are you?" A guys says kinda flirtatiously
"Ruzek, stop flirting with her she'll knock you down like a bowling pin if you rub off on her in a bad way and I'd say being a fuck boy would definitely get her pissed" a guy says from behind ruzek
"Hi I'm Antonio Dawson" Antonio he says holding his hand out I shake it
"Hi Jocelyn shay" I say to him and he get a surprised face
"Shay any relations to Leslie shay the paramedic?" He says and I decide to joke around with him a little
"Who?"I ask
"Uhh never mind" he says embarrassed and I laugh
"What's so funny" he asks offended
"Leslie shay is my cousin!" I say to him laughing
"Oh okay" He says smiling
"Ok you to stop flirting she came to see me" the groggy voiced man I haven't seen in years says
"Hey hank yeah I came to talk to you about an issue concerning my mom" I say to him and he nods to his office we go in there and I shut the door
What's wrong with your mom?" He asks concerned
"After the passing of my father she became addicting to a few drugs and she needs help ASAP before things get worse, I need your help" I say to him
"Yes of course what were you thinking on doing?"he asks
"She needs to go to a good rehab, but I need someone to watch Julie until I can get custody of her until my mother is clean for at lease a year I don't want her going into the system" I say to him
"I can watch her until you mom is able to have her back again what about Joshua?" He asks
"He is getting a house with his girlfriend soon so he wouldn't need anyone to watch him" I say to him
"That's good, when do you want to put her into a rehab center?" He asks fiddling with his fingers
"Asap, but I need to find a day to fly back down there and I need to make callers to find the best one and make sure she is well taken care of" I say
"I'll help, I'll fly down to New York with you to help her as well okay?" He asks
"Thank you, I was hoping to make calls tonight to find something hopefully she can be there by the end of the week or early next week and we'll pack bags for Julie, Wait! What are you going to do when you need to go to work?" I ask
"She come here with me and when we go on calls she'll go downstairs and Trudy will watch her until I, Erin or al get back okay we'll make it work" he says reassuring me
"Okay thank you very much hank you have no idea how much this means to me, now that thats out of the way I need to be going to need to find a job or something"I say standing up
"What about working here?" He asks standing up as well
"What, like a detective?" I ask
"Yeah you have the training you can work plus we always need an extra pair of hands" he says nodding
"Wait really?" I ask smiling
"Yeah of course" he says
" just like that?" I ask confused
"Just like that" he says
"Your literally a life saver right now hank" I say hugging him
"Hey I have something for you" he says reaching into his desk and pulling something out and handing it to me. What I see in my hand makes me tear up "how do you have this?" I say to him about to cry...
