Chewing Gum for fear

Have you ever been so terrified to do something that your brain makes it worse? Say that you are about to jump out of a plane or go bungee jumping. Well, an easy fix that will release the stress is to chew on some gum. Why? Your brain will go through the mental gymnastics of "I would not be eating if I were in danger. So I must not be in danger."

Gum is also a fantastic replacement to get your brain to rewire itself after you quit smoking. Instead of smoking, chew gum. After a few weeks, you'll get used to it without smoking.
