It took about two days for the adoption papers to actually been sent through, so now legally, I am Jordan and Ace's son.
At the current moment, we are back in New York, and it is absolutely beautiful, amazing!
The big skyscrapers and everything just leaves me in awe.
I rub my hands over my black jogger's ad look around the doctor's office, we have been back at New York for about three days, Jordan took me shopping and Ace bought me a phone.
I have my own room which Ace helped me decorate, I have never felt so happy and cared about.
I didn't even realize how rich they were until I got all named brand clothes.
Ace walks out of the room and runs his hands down his face, he waves me over and I stand up walking over to him.
Jordan scared me when she fainted yesterday, and Ace flipped out.
"Hey, so, your mo- Jordan wants to see you"
"She is my mom," I say, his face brightens a little and he pats my shoulder offering a small smile.
I walk into the room and she sits on the chair, it looks like they were checking her vitals cause she was hooked up to one of those heart rate machines.
"Hey Car Car"
She started calling me that which I don't mind, I smile and sat next to her.
"Well I got good news and bad news," She says giving me a sad smile.
"Bad news first," I tell her.
Her hand reaches out as her eyes water, she rubs my face and sighs "I have lung cancer"
My heart jolts and my eyes widen, I look down not knowing what to say.
She just became my mother... and now this?
"Hey, its okay mi amor," She says and messes with my hair, I smile and look up, I could be her son, with the Hispanic gene.
"Good news?" I whisper
"The chemo, it should help me, and it won't harm the twins," She says placing her hands on her stomach.
That makes me smile and she grabs my hand.
"Don't worry, I will always be here," She smiles again, I grin back and give her a hug, she hugs me back.
"You know I love you," She says
"I love you too" And I meant it, my first real family, how can I not love them?
"Now, how about once we are done, we can go by your new school and get all your things"
I nod and she smiles, I step out of the room and the tears build up in my eyes.
Ace steps over to me and I look up, he pulls me into a tight hug and hugs him back.
"She is going to be okay," I whisper
"I know" He answers, we pull back and he messes up my hair too, we sit down and he can sense my uneasiness
"Are you ready for your first day tomorrow?" He asks
I nod slowly and then shake my head "Nope, not at all"
He chuckles lowly and sighs "Don't worry, you will do fine, the school you go to, they will know who you are, you will be at the top of your level"
I nod slowly, I have always been popular, but I guess I will be popular for other reasons.
I miss Kevin slightly, I can still text him but he is all the way on the other side of the country, I shove my hands in my pockets as we go into silence.
Sofia is the cutest thing ever, she is so sweet too, she is technically my aunt but she is more like a sister.
I like everyone so far, me and Adian are pretty close, since he is my uncle, I have met my other uncle Conner, he is cool as well, and Gracie and Cole, who are both like Aunts and Uncles too.
She steps out of the room and smiles at us, Ace immediately stands up and wraps her in a hug, she hugs him back and I smile.
I hope I find someone I can love like they love one another.

We pull up at the big middle school, I will be in 8th grade this year, I'm turning 14 in two months.
"So this is North Side Middle," Jordan says as Ace pulls up, there are a couple kids outside who all look a little rough which I am guessing are the outcasts.
"So lets go" Ace says giving me a small smile.
I nod and we all slip out of the parked car.
The kids look over at us and I have never seen them scatter so fast.
"Is everyone scared of you?" I asked
He chuckles and Jordan cuts him off
"He held a gun to my head and almost killed me", Ace stops and looks at her.
"I knew it was on safety! You said you weren't scared"
I chuckled at them and we opened the doors, the kids in the hallway all looked up, I easliy sorted them.
Smart kids, outcasts, preppy girls, petty girls, popular boy, jocks, and oh my.
She walks down the hallway with long brown hair, she is by herself, she wears white shorts and a nirvana t-shirt tucked in, her long hair is in a messy ponytail as strands fall in her face.
She is beautiful, beyond beautiful.
She looks up and meets my eyes, she sends me a confused look before turning back to her locker.
"You can stare later" Ace jokes and I chuckle nodding, everyone stares as it is dead silent in the hallways.
I spot her as she joins my side.
"So you are finally enrolling?" Sofia asks as she walks next to us.
"Yep," I say smiling down at her.
"Well I got to get going, see you around"
She gives Ace a nod and walks away, I then realize that he has to keep up his standards.
We walk into the office and the front lady's eyes widen.
"We are here to enroll my son"
