Surviving Deadland [Up For Adoption]

Okay, time to level with all of you. I'm not  feeling some of my fanfics anymore and I highly doubt I'll complete them.
I've thought a lot about it, and I've tried on numerous occasions to continue but I'm just not feeling it anymore. I won't apologize for feeling that way but I will apologize for waiting so long to say something about it. I just didn't want to disappoint those loyal fans of the stories. However, it's time to face the reality of the matter.

I also have a proposition for those of you interested. I noticed once that a story I was reading was discontinued by the author but they allowed someone to 'adopt' the story, so to speak. That said, if anyone is interested in adapting any of the fanfics I will be discontinuing then please do make your interest known and I'll give you the fanfic and you can give readers the link to your version of it.
Or. Interested readers could form a group account and work on it together--a fun little venture for open minded people to take part in, and who knows, you may meet your next best friend on the journey. You're also welcome to ask me any questions about the stories or characters, via INBOX--if you ever need the help.

This message will be posted on the stories being discontinued. I'll even leave it up for a month, ample time for everyone to see it and decide what they want to do!

The message above was sent to all followers. And since I'm posting it here then yes, this is one of the stories to be discontinued.

Writing this has been interesting but I realize that it's more of a romance story than a survival story like I intended initially.

Aiko/Takane was also a difficult character to get inside the head of (my fault for choosing her trauma so flippantly). I don't know enough about how that type of trauma could affect a person. I see my characters as real people, and not understanding them makes it hard to write about them or from their point of view.

It's made it increasingly hard to muster the motivation to write this story and although I hate to admit it, I just wasn't ready to write a story like this.

So, though I regret it, I do have to call it quits now.

But, as I said, you have the opportunity to adapt this story and finish it in your own way if you so wish. All I ask is that you credit the characters to me. You can change the plot however you want. All adaptation requests will be taken via INBOX, although I'm not stopping you from commenting your opinions here.
