btw I know that the pic is Markus and Simon but I couldn't find anything better.
Hope you enjoy ♡After joining Jericho, Simon became free.
Free from humans, hatred, and slavery. He was no longer a machine created for only one purpose: to obey humans and fulfill their desires.
His life before Jericho was hard and unpredictable, just like the lives of other androids who joined Jericho looking for freedom. They all cherished it at first, but as time passed they realized that they wanted something more than peace they had there.
They wanted to be accepted for who they are, to be able to roam the streets free, to enjoy a normal life they deserved, and to be respected like humans.
At first, Simon thought that there was still a chance for something to change, but he has lost that hope a long time ago.
They accepted their reality; at least three of them shut down every week, and there wasn't a thing they could do to prevent it, aside from using some functioning parts from already dead androids. Their supplies were running lower and lower every day. With each android that died, died a bit of hope.
Simon didn't have much to think about lately. Since everyone at Jericho had problems and concerns of their own, they weren't really opened to one another.
So he turned to Y/N, the only person that was always there for Simon, to help him with whatever he needed. Y/N even seemed to forget about his own worries, focusing on Simon's.
He appreciated Y/N's company, growing closer to him with each passing day. He cared less about the future when he was near Y/N, because he let Simon forget the world outside Jericho and its cruelty.
Both of them needed someone to lean on in their misery, something to believe - they needed each other.
But as much as Simon loved Y/N, he couldn't miss how strange and unsettling Y/N's behavior was from time to time.
If North and Josh came to talk to Simon, Y/N would just stand there, his eyes shooting daggers in their direction until they left. Whenever Simon paid attention to someone too much, Y/N's expression would darken like a shadow fell upon him, to the point where Simon barely recognized him-it was not the cheerful and kind android he loved. Sometimes it seemed as if he had no empathy at all, except for Simon.
But Simon loved Y/N so much that he didn't worry abou things like that. Jealousy was common in androids.

Simon was about to take remaining working biocomponents from the android that recently shut down, when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
'Oh, hey there.' Simon cheered up at the sight of Y/N.
'What's up?'
'Another one of us is dead.' Simon sighed, gently closing the dead android's eyelids. 'I wish there was something we could do.'
'Yeah.' They were quiet for a minute, neither of them knowing what to say until Y/N broke the silence.
'Come here, Simon. I want to show you something.'
They lit one of the candles in Jericho and sat next to the fire, gazing into the flames.
When Y/N offered Simon his hand, Simon frowned. 'You never wanted to talk about your past.'
That was true. Simon tried to initiate anything about Y/N's life before Jericho a few times , but Y/N would avoid it however he could. Simon never pushed it because he didn't want to upset Y/N, but it was obviuos that there was something wrong.
'Are you sure?' Simon continued, 'You don't have to do this-'
Y/N interrupted him, placing a hand on his cheek. 'But I want to. I trust you with everything, you're the only one that understands me. The least I can do is let you know how I feel.'
Their lips joined in slow, affectionate kiss. Neither of them wanted to rush anything, they had all time in the world.
Simon intertwined his fingers with Y/N's, their skin melting away at the places their hands met.
They saw every inch of each other - their life from the beginning , their escape and every feeling along the way. Simon saw darker emotions in the other android, but it was nothing their love couldn't overcome.
Their hearts connected, one seeing everything that the other one felt.
Passion. Affection. Pain. Comfort. Fear.
Love.
They pulled away to see entire Jericho looking at them, androids forming a circle around the fire.
All eyes were on them and Simon saw support and compassion in them. Smiles formed on their faces one by one as they stood there in awe.
It was a breathtaking picture - androids who weren't able to feel love for such a long time to the point where they forgot the feeling entirely finally experiencing it again. They held on to this moment like it was a life saving vest, trying to recall the best memories of their lives once more.
The forgotten feeling was so strong that they could almost touch it. Despair that was there minutes ago faded away, making place for love.
Androids were in high spirits again. A couple sitting next to fire that burned like faith brought back to life, inspired the whole Jericho.
Androids found their hope again.
