You didn't run, because you knew that would make him even more angry. Tears ran down your face like an overflowing sea. You could see your reflection in Ralph's glazed blue eye.
Your nose and under-eyes were red.
Your [E/C] eyes were light pink. You looked like a mess.
A hot mess.
A big mess.
A dead mess.
As you focused on Ralph's expression, you noticed something changed in his eyes. Now seeming slightly heartbroken. But still angry as all hell.
You spoke, or rather pleaded. You knew he didn't want to kill you. He just wanted you to appreciate him. And reassure him that he was a good guy.
"Please don't hurt me.." You looked up at him, who was staring down at you. He twitched his nose, and blinked. You felt as if this was your end.
You turned your head and tightly closed your eyes, tears still streaming down your face.
But you never felt any pain.
So you opened your eyes slowly and gradually, noticing that Ralph,
was crying too. He placed his knife back in his belt.
Your faces were very close together. Your cheeks were already red and it was impossible to tell you were blushing.
"Ralph is sorry.." his nose twitched again. "I'm so sorry!.. I-" he covered his face with his hands, in shame of his actions. You slowly and carefully used your own hands to pry his hands of of his face gently. "Hey.. Hey.." you said softly, using your thumb to wipe away the tears.
"It's just that-" he stumbled over his words.
"Ralph can't control his anger.. When his anger comes.. Ralph doesn't know what he's doing, he-
He becomes stupid.-" He blinked and twitched again.
"Full of hatred."
"Ralph is sorry.." his neck twitched directionlessly, and then stared you in the very eyes.
"He just wanted to be your friend.."
You had nothing to say to him.
So you hugged him.
He didn't know what it was like to be loved, to love, or to understand love. So after about 10 seconds of analyzing whatever the fuck you just did, he hugged back.
"It's all okay now, Ralph." You whispered into his ear.
