(So for the next few chapters, I'ma just give you a lot of lovey moments and actual time for romance.)
After a huge nap, you woke up with the car's error alarm sounding off. Something was wrong. It entered emergency stop mode, and left you three on the side of the road. In the snow. Ralph was outside, already shivering. He inspected the car's gears, but didn't try to fix anything. He knew at least he wasn't a mechanic. You quickly hopped out of the car as well, hugging yourself, due to the harsh weather. "R-Ralph.." your bottom jaw chattered. "It's so cold.." you complained. "Ralph is not in control of the weather. Sorry." You felt hurt by that. It gave off a snarky reflection. Wether he meant it or not, your heart sunk from his reply. "Well- We have to find somewhere warm. Anywhere.." your shoulders shuddered, and your hands shook. You were about to fall. But you held yourself up with whatever energy you had left. "Ralph.. Ralph is sorry.." he closed the hood of the vehicle. He held you in his arms, guiding you back to the car. "Ralph will try to find a place. He will try his best. Y/N should stay in the car. It's warmer, at least." He said with precaution.
"Ralph, if you go out in that weather for too long, and your entire circuitboard will freeze." You spoke quickly, and with anxiousness. "We can stay in the car for the night. It'll be fine. By morning, the snowstorm will have weakened and the temperature will decrease. Then we can find a place." You held onto him, for support as he helped you into the car. Afterward, he stood there, thinking. He finally accepted your decision and got in the car as well. "It's not that warm, but it doesn't feel like a blizzard to me." You held your arms around yourself. "Meow?" Lynx wanted attention. You unlocked (his/her) cage and let (her/him) hop up onto the seat, and curl up against you. Your teeth still continued to chatter. Ralph looked at you will his full attention. He gestured you to get closer to him, following with a mere agreement from you. You slid over beside him and he pulled you onto his lap, almost bridal style. He held you tightly, trying his absolute best to keep you warm. Lynx followed your actions and hopped onto you, curling up and going to sleep.
You soon followed the manner and became drowsy. Your eyes felt heavy. Like sandbags on a theater stage. "Rest." Ralph insisted. He rocked you gently and slowly, like a baby. "We have a long walk ahead of us tomorrow." He then gave a reason to sleep as well.
"But I don't want to sleep." You refused. "I want to talk to you.." you pouted. "Ralph is sure Y/N will have lots of time to talk tomorrow." He replied calmly. He rested his head on your shoulder, with his face buried into the crook of your neck.
"Lie to me, and you're getting the silent treatment for 24 hours." You believed he would say the same thing tomorrow. "Ralph doesn't have to worry about the silent treatment. Because he doesn't lie."
"—Well not anymore, at least.." he added to justify himself.
"Whatever you say, dork." You closed your eyes.
"And Ralph says, 'he doesn't lie'."
"Fair enough." You accepted it.
"Goodnight." You gave an end to the conversation.
"Goodnight." He replied, and tied it off.
