She travelled to distant galaxies
Searched planets far and wide
Yet never once did she realise
What she seeked was locked inside
She longed for someone to hold her
To show her what it means to be loved
Yet no one would ever dare tell her
That it's not found in the skies up above
She spent her whole life searching
Using her map found in the sky
But never got the chance
to see the love inside his eyes
She lived and died a loveless life
Believing herself to cursed
And all because no one had told her
That she had to love herself first
