~Chapter 11~

———Ink's POV———

I was busy in my office working on all the papers that I've procrastinated the entire week. Silly am I right? I already sat there for 20 minutes and I think I'm already losing it. Before I could flip the table in frustration, Geno came storming into my office with a blue hue on his cheeks.

"Fuck you and your ships," he said pissed off before slamming the door and leaving. I stood there processing the information before laughing hysterically. I can't believe Geno found out. I thought it was mine and Cross's secret.

Soon Cross came into the office rather confused.

"Uh. What happened with Geno bud?"

"Oh. He may have understood Afterdeath," I said snickering. Cross face-palmed as I continued to laugh.

"Before you die from laughter, I have some reports from the civilians stating that they've noticed one or two people from the gangs and they have their suspicions on places where their bases can be,"

"Ugh. More paperwork. I can't handle the amount of plain, white boring paper!" I exclaimed. Just as Cross was about to speak, the alarm went off.

"Seriously? Another raid?" I said.

"Let's just get this over and done with,"

———Geno's POV———

Stupid ships

Stupid Ink

Stupid police department

Stupid Reaper

When can life be so simple with no delays for anything!

As the alarm went off, I went into the locker room to put on my bulletproof vest underneath my casual clothes to avoid attention. Quickly hid a gun and rushed outside to get into one of the cars.

We reached a tall building, a hotel to be precise. I quickly got out as the rest of the officers stayed on ground while some, including Ink and Cross, went into the hotel.

"Ma'am. We need to escort you outside. It's not safe in here," Ink said to the receptionist. She nodded as an officer escorted her out.

"So what do we have today?" Cross asked.

"More likely a rampage in a hotel. Possibly looting the stuff provides there," I responded. Ink nodded before we went up the stairs.

———Cross's POV———

We quickly made our way up while making the minimal amount of sound. We didn't wanted to be noticed by them. Once we were up on the 5th floor, we heard shattering and muttering across the floor. I have a signal to Ink as he nodded and went round the back. Me and Geno stayed together.

Geno went ahead and creeped up to one of the rooms. He shook his head, meaning that there was someone in there. I rushed to the other room and went out onto the balcony. What I was about to do next was seriously dangerous. I was going to jump to the next balcony. I took a deep breath before jumping.

I landed face forward, hitting my head hard. At least I was on the floor behind a sofa so that they won't notice me. I saw Geno staring at me with disappointment. I sighed before taking my knife out and smashing the window open.

"Hands up!"

Two skeletons stood up looking at both me and Geno. They both had black bones- Well one of them did. The other was almost a goopy mess. The other had blue tears on his cheeks along with Error signs all over him.

"Well well. Isn't it the Australian transfer?" The tar-covered skeleton responded.

"Well well, isn't it the infamous goopy Nightmare?" I retaliated. I noticed the look of anger before he changed it back to his smug look.

"What brings you here?" Error asked in a dull tone.

"Someone decided to raid a hotel and expect to walk out without being arrested," Geno commented. Error turned around to come face to face. I have no idea what was happening but I know something is definitely going on between the two of them.

"Oh look. It's the undercover police officer who managed to find our base!" Nightmare. Wait. Geno found their base?

"I didn't find it you imbecile. I had no idea where I even was!"

"Whatever tricks you have up your sleeve, put your hands in the air where I can see them," I commanded, pointing the gun at them. Nightmare just chuckled and lifted his hands. Error just stood there.

"Aren't you going to do the same?"

"Nah. I don't listen to kids like you,"

"If you don't put them up, I'll tell the your little secret," Geno said. Error jumped in surprise before putting his hands up.

"I'd rather be arrested than that secret to go around," Error mumbled.

"Good,"

I took out my walkie talkie and called Ink.

"Hey Ink. We've got Nightmare and Error under arrest. Is there anyone else?"

"Nope. Just then two. Let's get them back and give Reaper a roommate,"

"Gotcha there,"

"Alright. You are coming with me,"

———Reaper's POV———

I was busy laying upside down on my bed as I wondered about the police department. Before I could move an inch, the prison door opened. And guess who came through shocked me.

It was Nightmare and Error. They both got arrested.

The police officers dragged them both to the cells that were right beside me, one on both sides.

"So you both got caught?"

"I simply couldn't care. Error got in here because he didn't want Geno bird to expose a secret about him," Nightmare said in a negative tone.

"There was no way I'm risking that secret to be heard by everyone. It'll ruin me!"

"What's this secret that your willing to die for Error?" I asked.

"It's none of your business. If only Geno wasn't there..."

"Hey! Don't back chat about my crush," I said in an angry playful tone.

"Yeah whatev- wait what?" Error looked at me confusingly. Nightmare couldn't care less and minded his own business.

"Yeah. Don't back chat my crush," I said proudly.

"Pff you have a crush on him?! Hahaha!"

"Oh yeah? Look who's talking. You have a crush on the Inkblot,"

"Hey shut up!"
