--- Nightmare's POV ---

As soon as Reaper tackled Geno into a hug, I sighed and put down my staff. I saw Geno who looked as if he was being cringed out of Reaper hugging him. Reaper noticed it and looked at Geno who was shivering.

"What's wrong Geno?" he asked as softly as he could.

"I...I haven't had that much physical contact with anyone other else other than my mum..." Geno quietly let out the truth.

"Well, you have to get used to hugging you from now onwards!" Reaper exclaimed. Geno gave him a reassuring smile before they started chatting with each other.

I sat up straight on the sofa, covering the blanket around me as I tried to make myself sleepy again. Unfortunately, it wasn't working so I sat bored, staring at the wall. I heard the door opening and I saw Cross coming through the door half asleep.

"What's all the commotion about?" He asked half-tiredly.

"Geno's back," I replied as I showed the talking duo on the floor. Cross let out a sigh of relief as he plopped himself next to me on the sofa.

"So. We never had a proper chat. Why not do it now since I'm awake," Cross asked me. I looked at him confusedly before shrugging my shoulders.

"Why not? I'll ask you questions and answer and you can do the same," I instructed as Cross nodded. ", so where are you from?" I asked. I only knew he was a transfer but I didn't know where he was from.

"Austrailia," he said proudly. I looked at him astonishingly.

"I've always wanted to go to Austrailia!" I exclaimed.

"Maybe we can visit there when I go back. That is if you stop your criminal activity," Cross deadpanned him while I laughed back.

"Sureee..." I told him as he gave a smile back.

"Fine. Where are you from?" He asked.

"I guess I'm from here if the President- well my supposed 'dad' hasn't come from another country," I said nonchalantly. "What was the main reason you became an officer?" I asked him another question.

"Mainly because I don't want the world to be corrupt and I want a better living place for everyone," Cross said, speaking out his own emotions. I could see it floating around him since it was one of my powers. "What about you? What made you choose the life of a criminal?"

"Don't know whether I trust you on this story..." I muttered.

"That's fine. Just saying it's me you're telling this. Not anybody else," Cross smiled back. I nodded as I sighed, continuing the story.

"My mother was the best person but had a more of a scientist-esque impression comes from her. But since she was the only parent, we couldn't live properly and money was hard to get. However, I met Error when I was younger since I saw him roaming around the park. Honestly, he was the only friend me and Dream got because we got bullied constantly at school. It happened for years until I finally broke up. I went into the 'temporary' lab to meet my mum and talk about it. Being the silly teenager I was, I knocked a shelf over causing several bottles to crash on my head. That's how I got the goopy version of myself. Seeing I wanted to get revenge on those kids, I actually murdered them. For revenge. Once I realised my stupid move, I ran from home, away from everyone because I felt like a threat to everyone. That's where I met Error again, except he did something wrong too and we were both on the run. I never wanted this life actually. If it wasn't for him not being there when we needed him, that's something I'm pissed off about," I told my story as Cross listened intently.

"That's...sad..." he looked dismally.

"Yeah. Thanks for being a good listener. You're the only one other than Error and Dream who knows about this," I responded.

"Don't worry. We'll find a way out of this," Cross said, putting a hand over my shoulder. I looked at Cross's hand on my shoulder as I looked back at him who was sitting there casually. I could feel the heat creeping up on my face so the first thing I did was quickly lie on his lap and hid my face under the blanket. "Uh... What are you doing?"

"Sleeping now be quiet," I hissed quietly.

--- Killer's POV ---

I flickered my eyes open as a ray of sunlight hit my face. I groaned as I shifted in the bed that I was comfortably sleeping in. Then I suddenly shot my eyes open as I realise that I was knocked out by a fight with the entity. I got out of the bed to see I was in an unfamiliar room, it's colours based around beige, brown and gold.

I inspected the well-kept room that I was in and I immediately conducted that I was in heaven and I was dead. Sighing I thought about leaving the room. As soon as I opened the door, there was someone right at the door.

"AH?!" I screamed as the figure in front of me scared the living daylights out of me.

"I...uh...Sorry!" he quickly apologised as I saw he was holding a set of clothes in his hands.

"Wha... am I in heaven?" I asked him, shaking him by the shoulders.

"Wait, no! No! We're on Earth!" he was managing to say through all the shaking. I instantly stopped as soon as he mentioned Earth.

"What? That means I'm still alive? AH GOD DAMMIT!" I shouted as the skeleton in front of me held his ears.

"KILLER SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I heard the shouting of Error coming down the hallway. I grunted in annoyance as the skeleton in front of me still stood politely. That's when the realisation hit me.

"Wait you're Dream," I asked.

"Yup! Here are your extra clothes since you don't have any fresh new clothes," he said cheerfully, feeling the positivity seep out of him. Almost as if I was craving it...

"Oh yeah...thanks..." I managed to stutter out as I took the clothes out of his hands, looking back as he walked back down the hallway. Man Nightmare is going to kill me.
