——— Geno's POV———
I woke up to another tiring day. After yesterday's betrayal and running left all my bones aching. I got myself changed and sat on the table. Thankfully my mum was kind enough to take care of me.
"Here have some breakfast," she said while placing some toast on the table. I smiled as she giggled before leaving to do her own thing.
As I ate some toast, I was wondering to myself on where I should spend some time with my mum. I rarely see her and these couple of weeks are my chance. I took a quick glance at the clock to realise I was late for work.
"Shi- bye mum I'm going to work!" I scrambled towards the door with my laptop in my bag. I quickly arrived to the station as the clock chimed 9:00.
"Huff...I came on time," I said out of breath.
"You shouldn't have rushed to work. Ink would've let you off!" Dream commented as he stirred the hot cup of tea. "Here. Have some Golden Flower Tea. It's the last packet!" Dream exclaimed as he carefully handed the tea over to me.
"Thanks Dream," I said as I headed my way to my office.
I sipped in the tea that Dream has kindly made for me as I made my way to the office. I always love Golden Flower Tea but I never find them in stores anywhere. However, Dream said he has a friend who has batches of these stuff which is so grateful.
I opened to door, trying not to spill the tea, revealing Cross at my desk sharpening his knife.
"Uh What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Well Ink appointed me to help you in the computer lab so here I am!" He said in a moody tone.
"Lemme guess. Chara?" I asked.
"Yes..." I quickly placed my tea on my desk and fished out a chocolate bar I had in my drawer. I handed it over to Cross, who's eyelights have already changed to target symbols.
"Yessss thank you," He said, holding the 's' long.
"Your welcome snake," I scoffed before sitting down and setting up my laptop. I logged on and went into the files of the mysterious 'father' that may be an international criminal.
I looked up to see Chara finishing off the chocolate and giving back control, making Cross fall of the chair.
"You ok man?" I leaned over the table to peek. He rubbed his head in annoyance before giving a thumbs up. I chuckled before sitting myself down and looking through more files.
"Hey one thing..." Cross asked with uncertainty.
"What?" I asked.
"Well, this guy. He seems rather familiar. When I was back in Australia, we were after a man who worked internationally. He would hire people at their disadvantage and then uses them for his own needs. And meeting Fell yesterday was some thing along the lines," he said while trailing off.
"So what should we do?" I got no response as I saw Cross fishing out his laptop and started typing. After several minutes he turned his computer to face me and it showed a file which clearly showed it was from Australia.

"Oh shut up,"
"Ha. But leaving that aside, we've now got evidence but how can we prove it's him?!" I exclaimed.
"We got to put a camera on him," he said straight forwardly.
"And how are you gonna do that? And what would that do to help us?" I asked questioningly.
"Firstly, we discuss that with Ink. Secondly, we can get a live feed of what he does. We can maybe catch him making a deal with smugglers!" Cross half shouted.
"Ok ok jeez. Too loud man," I said as I finished off the tea. I suddenly felt pain in my chest which suddenly went away as soon as touched it. Weird. Then there was a knocking on the door. "Come in!" The door opened to reveal another skeleton I haven't met before. He wore the officer uniform but the skeleton had added some purple colour to it.
"H-Hi. I'm Lust the student officer. I came around the station to see what's in each room and to greet some of the people I'm working with..." he said shyly.
"That's totally fine! My name's Geno, head of the technology department and an undercover police," I said stating all my jobs in case I run into him on my job. Then came another jolt of pain. I silently hissed in pain as Cross looked at me confusingly.
"The name's Cross. I'm a transfer from Australia. Just remember me as the guy with the giant knife strapped onto his back," he laughed as he pointed at the knife which was sticking out. He quickly nodded before waving and leaving.
"Should we go tell Ink?" I asked.
"Yup," Cross responded as we headed towards the office.
——— Cross's POV———
When we were in the lounge, Ink was there talking with Dream and Blue.
"Hey guys we got some news!" I said as Geno slowly trudged behind me. Something was up with him. He's not acting like he usually is.
"What is it!" Blue asked happily. As soon as I was going to reply, Geno cut in.
"Nothing," He said sharply.
"What?" Blue asked, lowering his voice.
"Hey Geno, what's wrong?" Ink went up to him and placed his hand on his shoulder. That was when the most surprising thing happened.
Geno looked at Ink blankly before shoving Ink to the ground.
"Don't. Touch. Me"
