Austin's POV

After about 2 hours and 25 minutes little Jeydon was welcomed to our family. I was crying like a baby. He had my eyes, Sutton's little nose, his little fingers so fragile.

Is there a name? A nurse asked

Uh yes.

It is?

Jeydon Carter Mahone

Okay I'll be right back. I'm gonna go get the birth certificate.

I gave Jeydon to Sutton to hold.

She was crying. I'm not sure if it was because of how painful his birth was or because of how happy she was. I think it was a little bit of both. The nurse came back through the door.

Well he weighs 7lbs 11oz. He is 28 inches long. He's a perfectly healthy baby boy. What did you say his name was?

Jeydon Carter Mahone.

Are you the father?

Yes.

I signed the certificate. Sutton signed as well. She said she was tired. I laid Jeydon down. Sutton drifted off to sleep. The doctor said she was going to say over night. After that I drifted to sleep.
