The sun rose in a pool of gold and crimson, spilling light all over the white clouds. The high sunlit clouds drifted across a clear blue sky. I smiled as I sat outside in our backyard, enjoying the lovely weather of this Saturday morning.

I honestly have a lot to do today. I am going to the mall with Taylor to get a nice outfit for tonight's bonfire beach party; so that will basically take up most of our day, and at night I obviously have the party to attend. I'm really excited considering it'll be my very first, believe it or not. I'm also glad I'll get to socialise and meet some new people. So it's basically a win-win situation.

I walk back inside when I hear my mom calling me, probably because Taylor arrived. I made my way to the door and just like I guessed, Taylor was inside talking with my mom. I smiled and gave her a hug then did the same to my mom "I'll see you later." I then grabbed my bag and headed outside to where Taylor's mom waited for us in her car.

"Hello Mrs. Wilson," I said with a grin.

"You and Andrew must drop the formalities, dear. We're family now," she replied with a warm smile before driving us off to the mall.

The mall was huge and it was only 11 a.m so we had plenty of time to look around. Taylor and I were both big fans of shopping, but with limits. We would definitely not spend hours in one store; just walk in and check whatever catches our eye before moving on.

"So where to first?" I asked, looking around at all the different stores.

"Forever 21, duh," Tay replied before dragging me straight into that store, her favorite.

To be honest, forever 21 usually had the best outfits. Plus, half our wardrobe was from there so we knew everything by heart. I was sure we would find what we were looking for instantly.

We started our search in the swimsuit section because, I mean, who could ever own enough? I am known for being quite picky so I hope I find the bikini I want because apparently, Taylor already found hers. It was a mustard yellow two piece with a floral pattern. Typical Taylor with all the yellow.
