Jasmine's POV:

As I was walking out of the bathroom, I saw Andrew talking to a guy whose back was turned to me. All I can see was his all-too-familiar blonde hair. Hmm, interesting...

"Oh hey Jas, come here, I want you to meet someone," Andrew said with a grin when he saw me walk out so I made my way over with a small smile.

"Jasmine, meet Elijah. Elijah, meet Jasmine."

My jaw dropped as I was now face to face with the one and only guy-whose-chest-loves-my-face. He seemed just as shocked as me for his clear blue eyes were wide open.

"Elijah?" I whispered softly as I looked up at him in disbelief. Even though I had my doubts of them being the same person, but believe me, it was still too shocking to come face to face with a person you've been talking to through a screen for months.

"Jasmine?" He whispered my name back. Oh how beautiful it sounded off his lips...

Andrew just looked between the two of us in confusion, nothing new really, "You guys know each other?"

I snapped out of my shock and settled my gaze on Andrew, "Yah, through that app I told you about."

"Oh. OH! Well then I'm gonna go grab the drinks. You guys go sit down," he said before walking away.

"I guess my wish did come true after all.." Elijah said with the most breathtaking grin ever.

I laughed softly, "You're welcome."

Elijah's POV:

While I was chatting with Andrew, he suddenly called out for a girl I suppose he knew.

"Oh hey Jas, come here, I want you to meet someone," he said as I heard the shuffling of feet behind me until I saw the girl now standing in front of me. It was her... I was about to ask for her name but Andrew gave me the answer I've been waiting to hear for months.

"Jasmine, meet Elijah. Elijah, meet Jasmine."

Let me tell you, I was shocked beyond words. It was like the world stopped around us and it was just her and I. She looked at me with the same expression my face held.

"Elijah?" She whispered softly, disbelief evident in her voice. I just want her to keep saying my name over and over again...

"Jasmine?" I whispered back, aching to reach over and touch her soft skin and beautiful brown curls.

Andrew looked so confused so Jasmine just explained how we knew each other before he left to get their drinks.

"I guess my wish did come true after all.." I said with a wide grin.

She laughed softly, oh gosh that laugh is like music to my ears, "You're welcome."

We then walked up to a table and sat down together as Andrew came back with the drinks.

"Hey my mom called saying I needed to go home to babysit my sister. Can I leave you two alone?" He said raising his eyebrow.

"You can trust me. I don't know about him," Jasmine said with a teasing smile making me chuckle.

"Well, I'm not worried. You'll take great care of him if anything happens. Adios," he said and winked at a smirking Jasmine before he left.

I looked at her and she was still smirking, "What?"

"Nothing. I just now get to tease you face to face and see your reaction."

"Oh joy. Apparently my wish comes with consequences."

There was a short moment of silence before she spoke again.

"I knew it was you all along. Ever since that bonfire party I had my doubts. Every time we bumped into each other, someone had to ruin the moment. I've wanted to ask you over chat but I don't know, I felt like it was dumb. I also thought if it were true, you would have brought it up."

"Believe me I wasn't able to get the thought out of my mind. That last time we saw each other in the parking lot, I wasn't going to leave without getting an answer but my stupid friends had to drag me away. I've been thinking about you ever since. Actually, you've been on my mind back when you spilled my drink all over my shirt," I chuckled at the memory.

"Yah, now that I know it's you, I'm not so sorry anymore," she teased and I laughed.

"You look way prettier than I imagined," I blurted out suddenly.

I could swear I saw her blush. It was the most adorable thing.

"You're not so bad yourself. You wanna go for a walk?"

"Sure, let's go." I got up and waited for her to join me before we left the shop.

This meeting turned out better than I thought it would. No awkward conversation, no shyness. It's as if we were still seperated by a screen. Maybe now we could be more than friends... Probably not instantly but there's more hope than there was yesterday and that's what's keeping me going.

Now that I found her, I'm never letting go...

Jasmine's POV:

We spent the rest of the afternoon walking around and talking about the most random things. It was the first time I ever laugh that much in my life.

We made it to the park in the neighbourhood and then sat on a bench by the lake.

"I can't believe you've been so close to me all along," I said still in disbelief, especially after how the events of today turned out

"I can't believe you've been so close to me all along," I said still in disbelief, especially after how the events of today turned out.

"I regret nothing though. All that happened made me even more eager to meet you. It was worth it."

I couldn't help the blush creeping onto my cheeks. Never once in my life did I blush because of a guy. Darn you, Elijah.

I was about to make a smart retort but I shut my mouth the moment I felt his hand gently brush my cheek as he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. I couldn't help but wonder what it would feel like to have my first kiss with him. Yes, first kiss. I was that innocent. I knew he wanted to find out as well because his eyes kept flickering down to my lips. He was probably debating whether or not to lean in because a few moments later, he dropped his hand and pulled away.

Yes, I was disappointed but it's still too early. I wasn't going to kiss him on our first encounter. Now that I know he was real, a little waiting wouldn't hurt. If anything was bound to happen between us, I want to take things slow so we would regret nothing.

"It's getting late, I better get going," I said softly before getting up.

He instantly grabbed my hand, sending shocks throughout my whole body, and got up as well.

"I'll walk you home."

And with that, we started walking again, towards my house.

Hello wonderful people!
I kinda am not that proud of this chapter but I tried my best to convey their feelings and reaction.
I'm trying to take it as slow as possible because I don't want to rush them into a relationship yet, so expect a lot of dates and surprises ;)
