Kenzie's POV
When I stopped crying on Lauren's shoulder we walked downstairs.
L; you have to tell them..
I nod.
K; I know...
we walk down and see everyone staring at me with sympathy.
K; you heard?
They nod. I look over at Johnny. He nods.
K; ok yeah I'm going back upstairs.
I start to turn around to go upstairs.
J; no Kenzie wait.
He grabbed my arm but I instantly pulled away.
K; don't... touch me.
I ran upstairs and locked myself in my room.
J; Kenzie! Kenzie open the door!
K; no! Go away!
J; Kenzie please!
I swing the door open.
K; what do you want Johnny!
J; Kenz I'm sorry.
K; you didn't do anything wrong. Now go away.
I try to close the door but he pushes it back open.
K; stop Johnny! Give up already!
J; no Kenzie I'm not going to give it up!
K; why not!?
J; because... because I love you Kenz.
I start to cry again.
K; no you don't John! Because if you loved me then you wouldn't be dating Sofia! If you loved me you would care about me! Or maybe you do love me... but you don't love me as more than a friend.... you will never love me... the way I loved you.
I slammed and locked the door. I fell on the bed and continued to cry.

It's been hours and I've been in my room. I'm so hungry... there was a knock on my door.
K; go away!
They knock again.
K; who is it!?
??; it's your favorite person in the world!
K; Joey?
I swing open the door and there he stood... with Chick-fil-A...
K; Joey!!!
Joey is my gay best friend from back home.
Joe; Kenzie!!!!
He pulled me into a hug.
K; I missed you so much! Why are you here?
Joe; sweetie you need some help. Now come downstairs and tell me which boy broke your heart.
I chuckle and we walked downstairs.
Joe; alright tell me, which one of you boys is Johnny?
Johnny looked up. He raised his hand. Joey looked at me.
Joe; oh sweetie....
He pulled me into a hug. I smile and pull away.
K; can I have food now? I'm starving.
We both laughed and walked into the kitchen.
H; can I have some?
K; no.
H; why not?
K; did you eat early?
H; yeah...
K&joe; then you don't get our food!
He sighed and me and me and Joey laughed.
Joe; alright sweetie that man of yours is a real slice of cake, but you got to get over him.
He said while clapping his hands together. I laugh and glance over at him. He's wrestling and laughing with the boys. I look back at Joey.
K; but it's so hard...
Joe; I know sweetie.
He looks at me sympathetically.
K; stop! I don't need anymore of those looks!
Joe; then get over it!
K; I am over it!
He glared at me.
K; I am!
Joe; ok fine what ever you say.
He leaned back in his chair.
K; what do I have to do to show you?
Joe; go over there and tell him you want to be friends again and don't come back sad.
K; fine.
I stand up and walk over to the boys.
K; Johnny can I talk to you for a second?
He nods and stands up. We walk a little away from everyone.
K; listen... I'm really sorry about earlier... and I kinda just want to forget it all.. cause I'm tired of the sympathy looks and I'm over it...
His phone rang
K; So can we just be friends?
J; yeah yeah sure.
He wasn't even listening. He answered the phone.
J; hey Sofia!
I rolled my eyes and walked away. I sat back down and cross my arms.
K; see I'm not sad.
Joe; but you're mad.
K; yes because he wasn't even listening to me!
Joe; mhmm ok.
I stand up and get two beers from the fridge.
K; did you want one?
He laughed and stole one of mine.
K; you wanna go upstairs and hangout with the girls?
He nods and we go upstairs.
K; hey bitches!!
I yelled when we entered Lauren's room.
A; glade to see you're back to your old self.
I rolled my eyes.
Joe; this room is insane!
We all laugh.
L; shall I give you a tour? Right there is where we played truth or dare.
She pointed at the seating area.
L; that's where Johnny and Kenzie almost had sex.
She pointed to the closet.
He chuckled.
L; that's where Johnny gave Kenzie a hickey.
She pointed to the bed.
Joe; damn Kenzie.
K; shut up!
L; and that's where Kenzie almost killed Johnny with a pot.
Joe; damn Kenzie bad ass.
We all burst out laughing.
K; alright Starbucks?
Everyone; yeah!
K; alright I'll get the boys.
I run downstairs and slid on the floor.
K; boys! Starbucks?
They all nod.
K; where's Johnny?
H; he's on the phone.
He pointed to the back yard. I ran outside.
K; hey Johnny, Starbucks? 5 Minuets?
J; nah I can't.
K; ok... than can we borrow your truck?
J; yeah keys are on the counter... anyway sof-
I grab the keys off the counter and call the girls and Joey downstairs.
L; how are we getting there?
I hold up Johnny's keys.
L; *gasp* we're stealing Johnny's car?
K; what? No. He let us burrow it.
L; one more. No he let you borrow it.
K; I hate you so much. And you can say it all you want I don't care anymore.
L; ok...
Everyone; I ship jenzie!!!
I rolled my eyes.
L; i cant believe that he let you borrow his truck... I mean he won't even let my dad drive that truck.
K; whatever he probably didn't realize what he was doing. He was on the phone.
Just then Johnny walked inside.
J; hey Kenz you mind getting me a Carmel frap?
K; sure.... it's ok if I drive your truck right?
J; yeah. Just don't crush it.
K; ok thanks!
I look that everyone and shrug.
