Kenzie's POV
It's 4:30 in the morning. I have to go to the studio and then straight to school. I get dressed into black jean shorts and a oversized cropped pink sweatshirt that says rebel in the top corner. I leave a note and drive to Starbucks. When I got to the studio I was 15 minuets late. I rush inside dropping a lot of my school stuff and having to pick it up quickly.
K; hey chis sorry I'm late.
Ch; it's ok Kenzie. Just take a seat.
I sit down and sort out my stuff.
Ch; Kenzie this will be your new duet partner.
I look up and see the familiar smile and emerald green eyes.
K; Johnny?
J; Kenzie?
Ch; so you know each other?
K; umm yeah... his sisters my roommate...
Ch; do you get along well?
J; I guess...
I shrug.

After awhile we had to leave because it was time for school.
K; bye chis!
J; yeah bye.
Ch; bye!
Me and Johnny walk to our separate cars. I need to get him out of my head. I drive to school.
After school see Lauren Brynn and Annie walking over to Johnnys car. I walk over to them.
K; hey.
L; hey! Party tonight, my place?
K; Netflix tonight, my place?
L; oh come on Kenz! Break out of your shell!
K; I don't like parties!
L; come on it's Johnny's party and he wants us all to be there!
Just then I heard a loud thud. I look up and see that Johnny beating another guy up again. I look at the girls and we rush over there.
L; Johnny stop!
He didn't stop.
K; Johnny please!
He still didn't stop. I threw my stuff down and started to pull him away. The girls do the same and he finally let up. It was William, my ex boyfriend, he was beating up... what was he doing here?
We pulled Johnny to his car.
L; why the hell were you beating up the new kid!?
Lauren scowls.
J; because!
L; because what?!
J; because I know what that guy did to Kenzie.
K; you do?
L; wait what did he do?
Annie and brynn stayed silent.
K; umm... that was the guy who umm...
someone touched my arm and I pulled away instantly. I turn around it was the boys.
C; woah chill it's just us.
Joey was with them and so was mark.
K; Joey...
He noticed my tone.
Joe; what's wrong?
K; it's William... he's back...
Joe; where is he?! I'm going to be beat his sorry ass.
K; Johnny already did that...
I rub my arm.
L; can some just tell me what the hell that guy did?!
K; William was the guy.. who tried to rape me...
L&boys; what?!
Annie Brynn and Johnny already knew for some reason... I don't remember how...
I got a text and I feel hot tears run down my face.

Unknown; hey princess! You may be wondering why I'm back, well I'm here to finish what I started.
Unknown; you're mine princess.

I look up over my shoulder to see William smirking at me he holds up right hand and puts his thumb and index finger together. (👌) then he puts his other index finger through it. I look away and made sure no one saw. I hadn't realized that Johnny was reading the text from over my shoulder. Everyone else looked at me confused and with sympathy. Johnny pulls me into a hug.
J; ok let's go home.
K; but I drove Maddie's car....
L; and I drove mine.
Joe; I'll take Maddie's car back.
H; and I'll take Lauren's.
J; ok girls, you're with me. Kenzie, you sit in the front.
I nod and get in the car.
