How Does Rejection Feel?

*Airi's POV*

"I surprisingly don't have a headache" Queen said as I walked to the kitchen.

"Well that's because I stopped you from staying there and getting drunk" I laughed,

She got up and came to the kitchen as she watched me serve myself a bowl of Cheerios.

"Want one?"

"Yeah i'm starving" she said as she rubbed her stomach.

"Here" I said passing her a bowl as I sat down next to her.

"Thanks girl" she said cheesing hard ass hell.

"Stop it's just Cheerios" I laughed and continued to eat.

We finished eating then walked back to the living room.

"You excited for later?" Queen asked breaking the silence,

"Later?" I pretended like I didn't know what she was talking about.

"Beach! remember"

She got up all excited,

"Oh yeah I remember now" I said as I saw her going on her phone.

"Derek told me he would pick us up at 6 so we got about 2 hours"

"Alright is he only picking us up? or??" I asked hoping she would say yes.

"I just asked he said he's also bringing the guys from yesterday"

I rolled my eyes as Queen started laughing,

"Come on they weren't that bad" she said as she got another message,

"Right that's because you were into one of them"

"Shut up you have to admit he was fineee" she said biting her lip,

"Eww don't do that again & are you telling Alyssa to come? remember Derek invited her too"

"Yeah I told her but she said she's busy today" Queen said as she shrugged,

"Oh let Derek know then and are you leaving right now?" I asked as I stood up and saw her getting her car keys.

"Yeah I need to go home, shower, and get ready" She said as she walked to the front door.

"Alright see you later then" I waved bye as she left.

"And we are here" Derek said as he parked the car.

"Finally!" Chris yelled as he was the first one to get off.

"This is beautiful" Queen said as she looked around.

"You're beautiful" Clarence said as he smiled at her.

"Ew don't even start I had enough with the car ride" Chris said as he pretended to gag.

We all just laughed as Clarence pushed him.

"Alright let's go" Derek said as he locked the car.

We walked to an area where there was a lot of people just playing volleyball or drinking,

"You look cute" Tray said as I noticed him looking at me up and down.

"Thanks" I said avoiding eye contact, yesterday was already awkward enough for me.

"Want to go get a drink" he asked as he pointed to the little bar they had there.

"I'm good" I said as I sat down and looked for Queen,
