"i'll be waiting here for you"Taeyong's eyes dimmed. His body was fighting between itself, but it was losing to his alter ego.
Taeyong closed his eyes and decided to let his alter ego consume him. When he opened his eyes again, he was met with Jaehyun's frantic ones.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have told you. Are you okay?" He ranted.
Taeyong narrowed his eyes and pushed Jaehyun away from him, before hopping off the counter.
"Mafia," he giggled out, but his eyes held nothing but sadness, "Of fucking course. I knew you had a flaw, I was hoping it wasn't a big one."
Jaehyun gulped and looked at Taeyong with worry.
"Don't get me wrong, I could care less if he runs the mafia. But you see, I was a bit, hmm, what's the word?" Taeyong pretended to think, "Ah, yes! Screwed over."
Doyoung was watching the scene in front of him unfold like a movie. If he were sitting down, he'd be on the edge of his seat.
"So, what's the mafia name?" Taeyong leaned against the counter and looked deep into Jaehyun's eyes.
"They call themselves Forca." Jaehyun's throat was dry. He was getting scared.
Taeyong laughed bitterly and sunk to the floor. "Of course it is. Do you have any idea what your daddy has done, Jaehyun? Do you have any fucking idea what he does?"
Jaehyun was at a loss for words. He really had no idea what his dad did.
"I'll take that as a no, so let me tell you." Taeyong stood up shakily and looped his arms around Jaehyun's neck. He leaned into Jaehyun's ear.
"He murders," he whispered, "more specifically, he murdered my family."
Taeyong felt Jaehyun's entire body tense.
"But Taeyong doesn't know that. He thinks his parents left him, isn't that so sad? They say that's why I'm here, he's lonely, he's making up for his loss of parents. I don't want him to ever know." Taeyong's alter ego sobbed out, "I'm not evil, Jaehyun. And I'm losing my hold on him everyday because of you, because you make him feel loved."
The room was quiet as everyone tried to process the new information.
"He killed them, because he was looking for me." Taeyong spoke suddenly.
Doyoung's eyes widened. "Jaehyun, what the hell did you just get yourself into?"
"I have no idea." Jaehyun felt Taeyong go limp in his arms. He guessed his alter ego was done.
"So, I can't even be mad at you right now. But I'm leaving, and I know we're over," Doyoung paused in the doorway, "I won't say anything to your father." He said before leaving.
Jaehyun didn't know what to say or do. He acted on impulse when he picked Taeyong up and gently laid him on the couch.
Was his dad really that awful? Jaehyun pondered Taeyong's words and waited until it all sank in. It was starting to make sense. Why his father needed constant protection and never wanted Jaehyun in the warehouse, why he never let Jaehyun downstairs, where he probably killed people.
But one question remained, why Taeyong?
