♡ "now i'm insecure and stressed out, when someone gets close, i shut down"
Ten ran as fast as his short legs could carry him to Jaehyun's house. He frantically knocked on the door, checking behind him every so often. Jung's men were bound to come after him after his sneaky escape. Well, it was less of an escape and more of a clumsy exit.
"You." Jaehyun grabbed Ten by his collar. "What did you do to Taeyong?"
Ten chuckled nervously. "About that, we need to talk."
Jaehyun let Ten in, but he was very skeptical.
"Alright then, from the beginning," and Ten explained everything. Starting from when he first met Taeyong to the situation they were in. Jaehyun tried to strangle him at least three times, but Ten always swerved his attempts.
"YOU BITCH, GET BACK HERE!" Jaehyun yelled as he chased Ten around his house.
"HEY, AT LEAST I TOLD YOU!" Ten ducked as a pan came at his face.
"Yes, yes you did. Now how the hell do we get them out?" Jaehyun asked as he threatened Ten with a spatula.
Ten rolled his eyes. "I have two idiots that could help us. But why don't we just go to the police? You're a police officer, right?"
"True, but if I go to the police, my dad will probably murder everyone that goes in there, including Taeyong and Johnny."
"So we die instead? That's great."
"You wouldn't die for Johnny, even after everything you've done to get him back?" Jaehyun looked at him in disbelief.
"No, no, that's not it. I've actually already died for him." Ten lifted his shirt to show a long scar. "But that's a story for another time."
The two fell into an awkward silence. Jaehyun felt like he just opened an old wound that should've stayed closed.
He coughed awkwardly. "So, who are the two idiots?"
And that's how Jaehyun found himself in front of Donghyuck and Mark.
He knew Mark actually, he came to the police station often. But Donghyuck was a real character. He was so extra and sassy, it was like a mini Ten, just meaner. Jaehyun almost lost his shit when he saw Mark and Donghyuck together. His inner fanboy was triggered.
"Any ideas?" Donghyuck asked as he curled into Mark on Jaehyun's couch.
"Uh, no. That's why you guys are here."
"Okay, well, Jaehyun?"
Jaehyun hummed as a reply.
"We need you to explain or draw the layout of the warehouse your father works in." Donghyuck explained, suddenly serious.
"And Ten, you'll have to point out the room when Jaehyun is done. Kay?"
They all nodded.
"Um, so you walk in the door and it opens into a huge room. My father treats it like a living room, that's where I found Taeyong once. He keeps his office and my 'room' upstairs. I've been downstairs once, I think," Jaehyun bit his lip as he thought. "It's a narrow staircase. There's three doors on one side and four on the left. I know the last door on one of the sides is a torture room."
"That's where Taeyong is," Ten interrupted him. Jaehyun's eyes widened.
"The torture room?!"
"NO, NO, wait. He's down that hallway."
Jaehyun sighed in relief and held a hand to his racing heart. That room was dangerous, he'd seen what you could do in there.
Unfortunately, Ten had been right. Taeyong was being moved to the room at the end of the hall.
The Torture Room
