"what is it you want?
you can lie, but i know that you're not fine"

"It's nothing personal, Taeyong," Doyoung said as he put the car in drive.

"I don't care that you stole my boyfriend, no, not at all. But his dad does, and he's dying to meet you."

Taeyong squirmed in his seat. He was surely going to die this time, Jaehyun wasn't here to protect him anymore.

Doyoung smirked at him through the rearview mirror.

"The view is lovely. However, we can't let you see where we're going. Goodnight for now, Taeyong."

The man next to him held a chloroform covered cloth to his mouth, and Taeyong passed out.

He woke up to nothing but darkness. The room had no lights, but he could see the small outline of a bed. He heard the metallic clang of a tray and crawled to the noise. It was food. A water bottle, and some type of salad. Taeyong didn't care at the moment and ate it all in under two minutes.

He didn't know how long he'd be here. He was hoping Jaehyun would come for him, but that was a high hope. He figured he could just sleep his time away.

"Taeyong, Taeyong." Someone called out to him from the darkness. He slowly made his way to where he heard the voice, and saw Ten's head through a small hole in the wall.

"They have Johnny. T-they kidnapped him, too. Fuck, Taeyong, I'm so sorry. They won't let him go. I'm gonna break out of here, okay? And I'm going to tell Jaehyun we're here. Please, stay safe." Ten sighed.

"I trust you." Taeyong whispered back, his voice hoarse.

"Thank you," Ten replied before running off, his footsteps echoing down the hallway.

Taeyong was once again alone. He didn't know what to do, so he walked to the bed and laid down, hoping he could sleep. He did, but his dreams about Jaehyun only made his heart hurt worse.

A bright light woke him up. Someone had opened some type of door in the wall.

"Hello?" Taeyong called out.

"Hello, Taeyong," Mr. Jung said with a smile as he sat down in a chair by the door. "I have a few questions to ask you."

"About what? I have nothing you need."

"Correct, but your parents made a promise to me, and they broke it."

"I don't know about any secret money or anything, okay?!" Taeyong yelled out. "I can't help you!"

"Ah, but you can. Your parents were bad, bad people. They chose money over their own son. You see, they knew about your little disorder, and they worked for me. I wanted to turn you into our prized possession, our secret weapon. I promised them $60,000, and they gave you up. But when I went to get you, they hid you from me. So, I had to get rid of them." Mr. Jung crossed his legs nonchalantly, as Taeyong stared at him in disbelief.

"You fell right into my hands when my stupid son got you. Or at least that's what I thought, but he refused to give you up. So I took you by force instead. I hope the ride was comfortable."

Taeyong glared at him. "You're a monster."

Mr. Jung's expression darkened. "I'm not the monster, Taeyong, and you know it. I think we're done here. I'd like to talk to your alter ego now, if you please." Mr. Jung gave him an eager smile.

"No, I refuse. I refuse to ever let him take control of me again."

"It's either willingly or by tempting him out of you. Your choice, Taeyong."

Taeyong smiled at him teasingly. "Do your worst. I told Jaehyun I'd try, and that's stronger than anything you'll do to me."

"As you wish," Mr. Jung spoke as he stood from his chair and left, shutting the door behind him.
