I bang my head on my desk three times. I had so much case files to go through it's exhausting. I didn't even know where to begin. My telephone rang, so I lifted my head and I took it up, "Yes, Claire."

"Ms. Webb is here. She says it's very important." I sighed, Carla Webb was something else, she always had someone that she needed to sue or someone that she needed to divorce.

"Send her in." I place back the phone on it's stand and sat up straight. No matter tired I am, I tried to look as professional as possible.

The door pushed opened, the woman in her early fifties became visible. I noticed the change of color of her hair. The last time she was here, she had a few strains of grey in her brown hair but now her hair was black, and the signs of old-age was no longer visible.

I push my chair back and stand walking to the side of my desk. She walked in my arms and hugged me, "How is my favorite lawyer?"

I was her only lawyer. No matter who much money the woman had no one wanted to take the struggle that came with her. I was a young lawyer when I took her in my wings and she stayed there, still haven't matured yet.

I smile when she releases me from the hug, "I'm okay. How is my favorite client?" I didn't have a favorite client. I just said that to make her feel good.

"Well apart from the fact that one of my workers are trying to sue me, I'm perfect." Carla was Australian born and had move to American when she was twelve but even in her fifties she still carried a little of the accent.

"So, the table has turned." I state.

"Apparently so." She said without a care.

I shake my head and went back to my seat, "What is he/she suing you for?"

"Stress in the worked place." She replied, "Can you believe it? The bitch said I worked her so hard she lost her baby and now she wants to sue me."

I scratch the back of my head and raised my brows, "Did you know that she pregnant?"

"No," Carla shakes her head, "If I did, I would have fired her."

I nod, "I see. Well there is not much we can do at the moment. We can arrange a meeting with her lawyer and discuss the terms."

"Is it going to go to court?" Not that Carla had any problem with the courtroom. I am certain that all the judges knew her.

  "It depends on her claims."

Carla nods, "Oh, well good. Guess what?" Guess what was another one of Carla games when she game to my office.

"Your son has a girl friend?" I just said the first thing that came from my mouth.

"No." she said with a frown then brushed it off, "Henry doesn't want to propose to me. He said that he grew up strict catholic and all different types of rubbish. He says he can't marry a woman he has been divorced, especially me since I've divorced three times. Don't you think that's rubbish?"

I light nod my head, not that I was agreeing with her statement but just to make her feel better. I didn't understand the situation one bit. Henry claimed to be so holy, yet he is sleeping with her.

"Why do you even want to marry him? The guy has a huge forehead." He did and he wasn't even attractive.

She shrugs, "He's good in bed."

I nod my head. "I see. What does Rick think about all this?" Rick was Carla's nineteen-year-old son and her only child.

"Rick, I don't know. He has three steps fathers and he's gotten use to it..." before she could continue he phone rang. She lift her hands to me to excuse herself, "Yes. No...for God's sake can't I leave the place for ten minutes." He hissed her teeth and hang up the phone. She stood and offered me a smile, "Sorry, dear. I have to get going." she blows me and kissed and walked out of my office. Carla Webb was married to three millionaires, none of her marriage lasting more than two years. She started dating Henry before her last divorced came through.
